  1. That's a heck of a lot of beef for one 4 Cyl. Jeep to pull.
  2. Well, the Revell kits are simple and maybe fun for a Palate Cleanser. I might be ready to try the surgery on a Hook/Ford Mash-up, just for the fun of it. And the Wrecker and Cab back walls are separate parts, on the Hook/ 77 GMC Wrecker kit. Cab is #2, Wrecker rear bulkhead is #33.. Looking at the instructions, it seems clear that both kits were tooled with much the same philosophy, as far as detail and parts count. Not Brothers, but certainly Cousins. https://www.scalemates.com/products/img/4/3/6/191436-61-instructions.pdf
  3. There is a Snap-Fit Wrecker. Last seen as the "77 GMC Wrecker" or "Captain Hook Wrecker" it was released about the same time.
  4. No Clearance Kits, in Bakersfield CA, as of last Friday.
  5. Saw my Grandson in his Second High School Play. (one in the Fall, one in the Spring) He was outstanding! He's only a Freshman this year, but the Drama Teacher really likes his work ethic and Attitude. I hope he continues to do well. He was Great!
  6. I'll second the Fireball Wheels and 4x4 Tires. Really Excellent service from Joseph!
  7. Thanks, Al I got the Mustang today at H/L, 40% off. Looks like a nice kit. I'll get the paint next month.
  8. Cool, Mikos! That's good to know. I have two of those AMT 70 1/2 kits in my stash with extra flat hoods. I'd not had a chance to try them on the MPC kit. Also, a good source for some Cross Laced Wire Wheels are the MPC '32 Ford kits. Out most recently as the Coke Themed, Sedan Delivery and a Roadster/Coupe kit.
  9. I'm not sure either of the Flat Hoods you mention will be a drop fit. The Revell (ex-Monogram) is 1/24 scale, and the AMT '70 kit is an entirely different tool. It will probably fit with some sanding, but may have other issues.
  10. Cool! Do you race it, or is it mostly a Display piece? Neat, either way!
  11. Thank You, Al. I was not aware that kit had all the stock parts in it. That kit is still at Hooby Looby, and I can source the TS44 too. All I'll need are decals. And I can solve that issue, after the car is painted. Again, Many Thanks!
  12. Great Work on a rare kit! You really did an excellent job on the finish. Good Show.
  13. Is the TS 44 Is that TS44 a good match for the USAF Strata-Blue? I'm on the look out for that Mustang. Should have got one when Hooby Looby was clearing them out a few years back.
  14. I'll bet it does. Then the Short Wheelbase Duallie makes sense.
  15. Glad to have you here! I love Post Apocalypse vehicles! Hope to see some of builds in the Future.
  16. Thanks, Stef! What an Awesome Build. I love it! Thanks for the extra photos. They just jump off the page.
  17. It sits too high. Seriously, the wheels need to go up much higher in the wheel wells. Preferably, until they don't touch the ground......
  18. I'm soery to hear that, Nathan. It does make following the Hobby harder. There are many Canadian members on this Board. I'd reach out to them and see what Mail Order Hobby Shops they recommend. I'd try to get all of your Paint and Glue in Canada, just because it keep you from having to deal with shipping HazMat items thru Customs. As for kits there are a a few well known On Line Hobby sites that ship to Canada. Good Luck. Alan
  19. Yep. Cheap, Tooling is paid for, Not seen in 30+ years, and not a usual subject. I'll be getting one, and I'll bet you don't see them at Ollie's.
  20. Love The Name. Looks like something I'd see a Famoso Dragway.
  21. Just Completed a Trade with Matt T. It was great. Trade with him in Confidence. Alan Alexis
  22. Great Looking Tow Truck! It looks genuine! Good Show.
