  1. Wonderful in so many ways! A tribute to your brother. A lifetime long project completed at last. And an example of how things looked 60 years ago. Good Show.
  2. At least One Place shows it in stock. https://www.modelroundup.com/1966-Shelby-Mustang-350GT-p/amt-r2-1491.htm
  3. And here is a video review.
  4. It out now.
  5. I love it! Clean, sharp building style, excellent paint! Good Show.
  6. Yes, indeed! And since the wagon is a Push Car, you could just use the Chevelle AWB kit, and have the matching pair. You don't need a trailer.
  7. Marriage! Some days it's great. Some days it isn't. This is one of the bad ones. Worse, because I let my mouth off the leash, and said hurtful things. The House is Tense & Silent. Models just mock me today......
  8. I'm curious why the '65 Chevelle wagon was never part of a Drag Team set? Especially since "Drag Team Push Car" is one of the 3 build options.......
  9. Awesome Detail Work. Very Clean building style! Good Show.
  10. Oooh! Now that is a fabulous build. The Detail is Superb! Good Show.
  11. Thanks for sharing. As usual, Moebius Decals are "Sparse"..... I wish they would put more effort into their decals.
  12. Man, Build it OOB and you'll lose your AMS Modelers Card! (sarc)
  13. They'll get two kits out of this line up, for me. The BRE Datsun Truck and the Red Merc Cougar. But, not much else, so far. There will be more announcements, I am sure.
  14. Beautiful Work! Good Show.
  15. Wow! What a Great Save! I've always wanted that DAF 2800 NTT Kit. Goes for crazy money here in the US, and that is when you can find one. I keep hoping that Italeri will release it again someday, but I've been waiting 6 years, and had now luck. You Version hits the Farm Truck vibe really well. I see similar trucks, here in the town where I live.
  16. Wow! What a Great looking pair of cars! They both Rock!
  17. Indeed. You can have Lousy, Toylike kits. Or no Kits at all.
  18. Yes, it always has been. "Walk on the Wild Side" is too.
  19. The Cougar should be very nice.
  20. I wonder if the Wagon will be Kerbside or Full Detail? My guess is it will be the Kerbside kit. Not, that there is anything wrong with that. And it should have Awesome Decals!
  21. Cut Them Some Slack. AMT was losing money, kids were turning away from model kits, and old tools had to be re-used because there was little budget for new tooling. Little did the (Don Draper types) in charge know that 50 years later, folks would be B++++in' about their Cheap Re-purposing of old tooling that was going to be scrapped anyway into money making "Toys!" to 12 year old kids......... They saved AMT and that is what paid them. Not Realistic Depictions of fictional race cars. I'm glad that folks are so creative now and can fix what they see wrong, but dumping on these isn't fair. "Butchered" is hardly fair.
  22. I have 2 daily drivers. 1987 Toyota Camry. Purchased new by my Grandmother in 1988 from Longo Toyota in LA, it then went to my folks 11 years ago, and came down to my last year. 110550 miles, all original. This is the exact car, when new. A/C is out and with daily temps over 100 Deg every day, It is sitting right now. My Other Daily is a 2008 Chevy Silverado 2500 4x4, crew cab. (Just like my truck. Hard to find pics of these wheels)
  23. Wright R3350 Turbo Compound Radial Engine The PRT. Power Recovery Turbine. One of Three on the Engine. Known by Mechanics as the "Parts Recovery Turbine" due to the Many Engine failures they caused. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turbo-compound_engine
  24. Wow, the box art alone will sell this kit! What a Home Run.
