  1. Dang it Espo! Now, I'm gonna spend money...... https://alsimpkin.com/travel-tins-collection/
  2. Yeah, the windows from any of the recent AMT Ford Vans would work on the Shell.
  3. Je suis ravi que vous nous ayez rejoint! You will like it here!
  4. There were good parts in that kit?
  5. Man, I have always wondered what that kit looked like. The paint is outstanding! Good Show.
  6. I just hated the wheels in the kit, and the lousy engine. I should have persisted the way you have. Did yours have the AMT '34 Ford Pickup Chrome Tree? Mine Did it was so out of place in the box.
  7. Is that the Lindberg Tall-T? I had one and just gave up on it. Your ideas look great!
  8. Yep. You see the new wheels Revell is using. I would not expect any chrome in the kit. If there is Chrome, it would be the first time ever.
  9. Took an online test for a County job. I've been anxious about taking this all week. Turns out the process was seamless (this time) and the test wasn't as bad as I had feared. The second of Five Hoops to jump through in order to hired for the position. This test moves the hiring process from County H.R. to Public Works, so no telling when (or if) I get call back for the interview. I slept much better last night.
  10. Well, I'll try. It's this kit. Here is the timeline for this tooling. First tooled in 1981. It will have the wheels and tires shown in the HPI Guy review. The wheels and tires on the original box are long gone. Otherwise it should be pretty much the same kit. The Camper Shell (topper) Brush Guard and Cab Light Bar are the only real differences with the kit that I remember. Of course there probably won't be a snow machine either. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/revell-85-7224-80-jeep-honcho-ice-patrol--1115147/timeline Here is a build on the this forum. Here is HPI Guys' review.
  11. Arii. 1970's Japanese Motorized kit. The Body shell may be accurate, but nothing else is. Nothing from Hart's Parts will fit. I'd start out with a different kit. Folks here can give you advice about where to start for a 1972. Good Luck. https://www.scalemates.com/products/img/2/0/4/176204-96-instructions.pdf
  12. Dang, what a wonderful idea for a Rod! Keep us posted on the progress, please.
  13. 14. Man! They just don't get much better than this! Stance, Finish, Details! This build has it all. Good Show.
  15. "Just Because You Can, Doesn't Mean You Should!!" To Quote Bugs Bunny, "What a Maroon!"
  16. Which Challenger kit did you buy? It's not the Lindberg Kit, is it?
  17. I have done just this swap. I have a "Stock-ish" Coupe with the full sided SD Hood.
  18. And we lose another one! Great Musician. https://www.billboard.com/music/music-news/chuck-mangione-dead-feels-so-good-jazz-musician-dies-84-1236029598/
  19. Just did a trade with Paul Payne. Excellent Trader! Would trade with anytime, too.
  20. Don't feel bad. I have had this happen too. Last time it happened it was an irreplaceable colour that I'll never be able to find again. It's lousy when it does occur.
  21. The Correct Mis-pronunciation is "Sheep-es"
  22. That is just Awesome! A work of Art! Good Show.
