  1. They are in the Box. Many years ago (2015?) Somebody on the Spotlight Hobbies Board did a Step-by-Step tutorial with Photos on how to use some of the existing kit parts (including that Grill) to bring the Jeep front end back. I printed it out at the same, but have since lost it. Cybermodeler has an article about a group build by the FRAM Front Range Auto Modelers, of the kit. It was done in 2007, long before Round2 brought it back, and there is some explanation in the article on getting the Jeep Front end back on the kit. Sadly, no How-to pics. The grille in the kit now, is the OG Grille, and will fit on the inner fenders, to make a Half-Hearted start toward the older front end, but that still leaves the Hood and other bits to make it correct. Somebody who is a member over there might ask if anyone remembers the How-to that was posted, and see if they have a Copy saved. I have seen a couple similar requests get answered in the last few months, so somebody may still have it. https://www.cybermodeler.com/hobby/builds/amt/build_amt_38555.shtml Here is HPI Guys's Review. You can view the old grill at 3.25 sec in, and the later you can see the separate inner fenders. I ma a Huge fan of this kit, and just getting the Long Roof Back will open my wallet again.
  2. Yeah, My thoughts (Wishes) are that Round2 Would run this kit One Last Time, and then restore it back to the 66/67 "Real" Jeepster look instead of this Square Grille Abomination. With the Very Recognizable "Jeep" Front End, it would sell better, as it would obviously be a Jeep, rather than the Anonymous, shapeless thing it is now. I'll buy 2 when they hit the shelves, in order to do my small part in juicing the sales numbers. I can only hope it leads to a better future. But, having the Long Roof and (maybe) the Snowplow back will certainly justify the purchase of more kits.
  3. I like it. I drove a '79 CJ-5 for about 4 years in the late 1980's. I loved it. You have certainly done it justice.
  4. I'd say it is the Pyro kit. https://www.scalemates.com/kits/lindberg-2142-1936-ford-roadster--1149778 There is a Youtube video here, but it takes him forever to get to the plastic.
  5. The Fenders on that kit can be a bit of work to use, but fit well. I'd build a Fenderless Car first, and see how the build goes. Then build a Fendered car next.
  6. O.T. just a little bit. The Energetic Replies to this thread, and it's rapid growth, all show that there is a whole bunch on interest in this kit. Not sure that Energy will move the ball, but I am sure Round2 has seen the response and filed it away for the future.
  7. Here is the relevant page from the directions, show both the hard top and the plow.
  8. Looks like something you could see in Canada, but not the USA. Eager to see this one hit the shelves. Thanks for the Preview.
  9. I just turned 62, last month...
  10. I'm sorry. I mis-read your comment. Old Age, I guess. Still, a great Deal.
  11. Mike, it looks pretty sharp for a 9 year car. Hopefully you can figure a workaround for the frame. My Dad's Silverado is 18 years old, but rust free. These Older Chevies are good trucks.
  12. That price looks reasonable, for what it is.
  13. You might look at Gopher Decals. They have some Short Track Sheets.
  14. Well, Last Monday, had another Eval for the V.A. I've been trying to increase my Disability Percentage due to health issues stemming from my service. Yesterday I found out that the increase has been approved on my third try in 8 years. I did not expect such a fast answer, since the V.A. normally moves at the speed of Bureaucracy. But, the Dr. who performed the Eval did tell me, that he had final say-so and that his recommendations were usually followed. It seems they were, and very quickly. He did tell me that there has been a major push to clear a backlog of Disability Claims that are pending in the system. Going from 10% to 80%. This will help keep the lights on. I'm grateful for it.
  15. Be nice to have the full top back. Otherwise, I agree with Mike. The Mount'N Goat part II. Here is what was in it 7 years ago.
  16. Awesome Build, Warren. Your skills on these kits are superb! Good Show.
  17. Indeed. I don't remember seeing this before. Good Show.
  18. I like to see if the Camo Decals from the Revell Big Game Country pickup would fit this Blazer? I should go see about getting the decals.
  19. I really, really like this build, Chuck. It hits all my triggers. It looks great! Thanks for sharing this one. Good Show.
  20. Because it looks like a Mil-Surp Blazer, or a Wannabe M1009. Not because it actually is an M1009. We know the difference, and just appreciate the build!
  21. Very Sharp Build! You Tu-Tone Paint is excellent. Good Show.
  22. Here You go: https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/revell-instructions/straightline-competition/revell_50_austin_coupe/?view=roll https://public.fotki.com/drasticplasticsmcc/mkiba-build-under-c/revell-instructions/straightline-competition/revell_1951_anglia/?view=roll
  23. Great Showrod! A clever use of some Choice Parts!
  24. This is very true. This is a deliberate engineering choice, made to reduce the overall service life of the engine.(and by that extent, the whole car). It is done with Malice Aforethought, meant to force you to use only the dealer as a service facility, and to make the whole car a shorter, more expensive life.
