  1. I too am sorry for you. That is just awful treatment on the Doctor's part. I hope when you get better, you can get some recompense from him, for all the trouble he has caused.
  2. Oh, I had an '84 GMC 3/4 Ton with the Big Saddle tanks. I liked them where they were. All of the trucks were not as safe back then. Just the way it was.
  3. Yeah, from the mind of a NBC staffer, looking for viewers! All Trucks had issues with Gas Tanks burning when punctured in accidents. Ford were supposed to be worse, if I remember some of the research that was done when the NBC Story was debunked. GM was the designated punching bag that year.
  4. You are correct, I meant Notchback.
  5. Those are very nice. I want one, someday.
  6. Did the even make a kit of a Hatchback? That is a sharp little car there. Was/Is that yours?
  7. Off to the Secondary Market I guess. I've got other kits to build, so I'll just work on those, and get my Nostalgia Fix later.
  8. I wonder if Atlantis has the Indy Pace Car tooling, or if the Mustang Tooling that is left is the Monkey's Convertible?
  9. I've got to wait a month. Mad Money for August has already been spent.
  10. Model Roundup just listed these kits for Pre-Order. Gentleman, Start Your Credit Cards!
  11. Model Related Irk. Just got the Round2 1966 Thunderbird last week. All is packaged nicely, but Once again, the steering wheel is Bent & Broken. This happens on about every 5th Round2 kit I buy, especially when it is an old AMT tool, like the '66 T-bird. This time the Steering Wheel is cut off from the tree, floating around in the bag by itself. Still looks ruined. I've got plenty of steering wheels, so I can find something to fit. I am planning on building it as a Kustom, so the steering wheel issue is not a show stopper for this build. But, this keeps happening. Kats, please check the QC on steering wheels. Too many times, the shipping seems to bend or smash them by the time they get to the store or mail order house. This kit came from Model Roundup, but it has happened to me a few times in kits from Hobby Lobby. I don't squawk much about it, because many old AMT kits come with a choice of steering wheels, and usually at least one in usable. So, I just move on. But, it is disappointing.
  12. Nothing I want on that list, but it is very nice to see the 2023 Bronco, and the Mopower car coming. One Very New Tooling, with an extension, and one very old tooling, not seen for many, many years. Good Job, Kats!
  13. Brian, I really like the wheels and paint on that Mustang. Great Build.
  14. As others have said, it really depends on the kit and the car. Model A , and Model T. Engine of Course. Anything from the 21st Century, forget it. Somebody Mentioned the New 2021 Bronco. I've seen under the hood of one. Round2, could not easily recreate the engine compartment in that car. There is really no empty space under that hood, and too much plumbing and wiring to make it work. A "pancake style" insert as used in some Diecast Cars might be the best compromise for modern car kits. I have no problem gluing the hood shut now. It would have been a deal-breaker 20 years ago, but now, it is subject matter dependant.
  15. I've been reading about the '79-'82 Mustangs. It makes me want to build one. I graduated High School in 1981, and the New Mustang was all the rage. I guess I want to sort of step back in time to those days. Building a Mustang would help. So, My question. For First Generation Mustangs, whose would you build. Monogram, Revell, MPC? Which ones are easiest to find, and which ones are the most trouble free to assemble? I'm looking for a simple, straight up, Box Stock build. No kit bashing, no wheel swaps, no add-ons. I'll probably paint it Red (Because Mustang!), but other than that, just an easy build. I really like the Three Spoke Wheels that came on the '79's, but I do not have to have them, if the recommended kit doesn't have them. Thanks, for any Advice or Suggestions. Alan Alexis
  16. Shapeways is Gone? I do not pay much attention to these things, so I missed this. When did this happen?
  17. "She's so Fine, my 409!" Fine Job!
  18. It looks very Sinister in that dark Purple Colour! Very nice work!
  19. I like the weathering on the Blue Jeans. Sharp little scooter!
  20. Awesome Build. The weathering is fantastic, and it is so nice to see a Willys that is not a Gasser or Altered. What a great Build!
  21. Got the Revell '32 Sedan, and the Revell '32 Roadster. (the ex-Stacy David Rat Roaster) and some Paint.
  22. Thank You. I will remember that in the future.
  23. And the A/C conked out...... Got a call in to the A/C shop, but It will be a couple days before they'll be able to fix it. But, it's cooled down to only 100 Deg outside, so there is that. It is about 82 in the house now. It will be 106-108 again tomorrow. It will be a long, hot day tomorrow.
