Hot rod 37 ford
Chuckyg1 replied to Patrick J's topic in Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Wow, the Nova and this? Someone's been a busy boy. I'd be happy to have one build in my life look this good. You've managed two. Awesome build. -
Very nice all around. Nice work detailing the grill. I'm sure that wasn't easy.
-
Very nice. Great choice of color, and so smooth & shiny. The interior is perfect.
-
That's cool. I think I have some of those mags.
-
I like the detailing and weathering a lot. Some day I'll be able to do this. Looks right at home on that chassis.
-
Very nicely done. The "location" of the shoot is different, but I like it. This is a good kit, I built one when they were first released.

This was a long time coming. I know, I followed along. I admire your perseverance and dedication to this build. I marvel at your scratch building skills and attention to details. This build is beyond awesome and probably the best thing I've ever seen. Tip of the hat, and congratulations on seeing this to completion. Wonderful work.

Really nice, I'm liking the details. -
Really nice build. Let the errors serve as inspiration for future projects. That's what I do.

I really like this. Great build. I keep going back to soak up all the interior and engine details. Great paint work.

Nice color, nice stance, nice wheels. A looker for sure.

I love this little two seater,it just looks like a blast to drive. Yours is very nice. Perfect color choice. From what I can see, the interior looks well detailed too.

Unusual stretch limo
Chuckyg1 replied to Earl Marischal's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
It has no tires and looks like in rides on rails. Also both ends have the front sections. I'm probably completely wrong, but it looks like it's used to transport workers to/from a work site -
Quirky 70s Brits: Bugle Buggy and Bond Bug, Airfix, 1/32
Chuckyg1 replied to Matt Bacon's topic in Model Cars
I like both of these, pretty neat. Is that a young Jimmy Buffet behind the wheel of the buggy? -
That's cool. Never saw a build of this kit.
-
Louis, the level of detail is outstanding. Everything about this built is wonderful. I have this kit in the stash. I haven't started it yet, never sure how to approach it. If you don't mind, I'd like to save your photos as part of my reference when I'm ready to attempt it. Beautiful build. Thanks for posting.

Bingo!

Nice little bug. Very nicely detailed. My sister in law had an orange bug in the early '80s. Any engine pics?

Looks good Matt. Your efforts and persistence make this stand out. Great build.

This is from the December 1962 issue of Car Craft magazine. Thought you'd all get a laugh out of this. What other mob members can we add 62 year later?
-
I knew about the wheels but not the chrome option. Thanks for that.
