Olds powered '50s traditional Deuce 5 window
RestoModGuy replied to traditional's topic in Model Cars
WOW! Stunning... Off the chart of top best of show quality building... I'd love to see this in person, just incredible -
absolutely stunning... just a beautiful car and your build craftsmanship is top-shelf, very impressed...

Thanks for the compliment... The wheels and tires came from the old Tom Daniels Custom California Vette. I did make the "slots" larger with my dremel to match the actual. Hard to find deep 5-slots

My good friends bought this restored 327 1967 Camaro last year and of course with the excellent Revell kit out, had to build a tribute for them. Hand made the cowl hood, steering wheel, BM QuickShifter and hand-painted the "Camaro Club of the Rockies" logo sticker on the rear window, and photo-shopped their actual Colorado Vintage license plate. Pretty happy with the build. The 1:1... of course The tribute... The actual car and Club decal 1:1 Hand made steering wheel with Camaro PE center, added door locks and hand-made BM Quickshifter Handmade triangle air-cleaner and MSD system on firewall

It's not a COBRA any longer, now its more COB_ _.... Kinda cool and fun to do a crazy build every once and and awhile... Nice paint!

Nice! Good color combo for a Vette too

Much thanks to all the comments of this one. I know it's not everyone's taste, but it is a model car and a valuable build I learned many skills from, mostly patients!

Thanks... Honestly no idea from what kit(s) the wheels and tires are from, I bought a huge lot of wheels and tires from a guy getting out of the hobby, got lucky on some nice stuff, these were screaming to me to build a hot-rod, as I don't build pro-street or modified

This was a fun quickie build in between more complex builds I did last Fall. (This is a curbside Revell Snaptite) Added the fat-tires, PE side vents, and custom dual exhaust.

This was my senior year of High School 1979 drafting design project. I drew it, built it from sheet plastic and plastic-wood with squadron green putty. There are a few kit parts, tires/wheels, interior, engine from an old F1 racer but other than that, this one is all my design and build. I was very lucky to have it survive nearly 40-years and still stay together.
