  1. Whoa, now this sure is different, very fun "little" (or rather very big?) build.
  2. When it comes to modern Formula 1 cars, I don't have a clue about very much, but it sure looks convincing to me. All the decal work is something that I don't envy you race car builders, it can really make or break a build, but in this case there's nothing to complain about there. Nice!
  3. Very different, you don't see many 50s cars being built up like this, and the detail work is stunning. Well done!

    BMW 507

Nice build, and the white/red combo never goes wrong on a classic.
  5. Nicely done, I love the work done on the undercarriage, seems very realistic.
  6. Box art builds are always nice, the older the box art the better..... I think this is a great capture!
  7. Does it have a bad reputation? I have one that is waiting to be built but I have no clue about the quality of the kit, what do you have to say about it?
  8. Subtle customizing, not gone overboard. I like!
  9. One of my dream cars, they are so beautiful, and your build really does the styling justice.
  10. Very nice build. Now, I am no expert but to me the Champ 500 wheels feels very 80s while the build itself with things like the v6 and the paint scheme has a late 70s vibe? That's not a bad thing, I get something of a feeling that it could be a car finished in the 70s and after some years of driving updated with more modern wheels than whatever was there before. Anyway, I just love it.
  11. Hard as nails, I love it, and perfect choice of colour.... Very nice and clean build too.
  12. It's a real beauty, nice work, neighbour!
  13. Nice low buck rod, and I like the different touches such as the missing pegamoid on the roof.
  14. I love the east coast style and I think that I could drown in that paint job. Very nice build!
  15. A forgotten car in 1:1 compared to its older siblings, not to mention in smaller scale, very nice to see one being built.
  16. Nice soft rod, you can never go wrong with maroon on a bulbous 40s car. Well done.
  17. Nice and clean build, I get something of a newstalgia vibe from it and that's a style I have always liked, that I think needs a revival... Well done.
  18. I tried some different headlights. 1936 Ford pods was out of the question, it made the car look like Mickey Mouse. Stock VW headlights a bit too modern since this is a 1968 with the new style front fenders. 40 Ford looked good except from the side where the thick trim rings was standing out too much. 1937 Ford was actually the best choice even though that was the least expected one for me. Since the front now is a perfect place for a radiator, I am going to run a Buick V6 in this one. I don't care too much if I have to lengthen the rear lid, since I am going to mount the spare in the back anyway, so it will only become a natural console for mounting it. But of course, I'm even happier if I don't have to touch it.
  19. After some fiddling, it begins like this. Slightly chopped hollywood top with a 37 Ford split rear window (I know it doesn't look like a VW split window, it was never my point either as this is a custom build after all), 36 Ford grille and bonnet, older US spec bumpers and Astro Supremes....
  20. Thanks! Yes, I have a really soft spot for them myself.....
  21. Old Jo-Han model from the 60s, bought with some stuff missing so I had to be "creative", hence it's not 100% correct, but it is always fun to build old stuff. Sorry for bad mobile pics, could not find the charger for the camera unfortunately.
  22. WOW! You are becoming very good at this. I can really see how you have evolved as a builder since we learned to know each other many years ago. If I only could say the same about myself...
  23. Painted the body in this shade of copper, I like how it turned out.
