  1. Welcome to the forum Daniel.
  2. Welcome to the forum.
  3. Very nice start to a great car.
  4. Looks pretty good to me. Don't give up. Remember, give it your best shot and see where you have gone wrong so that you can correct those errors on your next build. We tend to be our own worst critics. I think your flocking looks darned good for a first attempt, maybe you are being a little bit to hard on yourself?
  5. Welcome to the forum Bryan. As mentioned before, lots of friendly and helpful folk on this forum who are generous with advice and constructive criticism.
  6. Welcome to the forum Tim. Good to have you back in the fold.
  7. Welcome to the forum Rodger. Great to have you on board. Would love to see your 1:1 cars.
  8. Ok, I stand corrected. Never seen the chrome wheels before. Most beetles in South Africa had either the oem steel wheels or aftermarket white or chrome star pattern steel wheels often seen on beach buggies.
  9. Looks intimidating, but probably very rewarding.
  10. Superb building skills. That is what most of us aspire to with our own builds. Everywhere you look, you see another detail that you missed previously. Thank you for sharing your build with us.
  11. Well executed clean build of a great car. Loving it. Can I have the keys please?
  12. Body colour turned out great and contrasts beautifully with that blue chassis. Can't wait to see more.
  13. I agree. The stance is also spot on, though it would be nice if the rear could be lowered just a fraction more, but to do that you would have to go with a smaller wheel which wouldn't look right. Keep at it, it's looking great.
  14. Loving the colour on this and that quick change in the back looks really good. Keep at it.
  15. Wheels look good, but I think the actual wheels should be steel and only the centre caps are chrome. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
  16. Surgeon Generals warning " Viewing this thread may blow your mind! Proceed at your own risk!". Seriously though, this is truly inspired work! I check this build on a daily basis to see if you have found a new way to blow my mind. Tim, you are a scratch building god.
  17. Very cool 57. I like.
  18. True. But it still annoyed the hell out of me. It was the first model that I was really happy with.
  19. Very neat build. Built this same one in the 90's. Unfortunately it got irreparably damaged after a spring cleaning incident.
  20. Welcome to the forum.
  21. Difficult one this, but find it I did. Lots of google searching later.
  22. Very nice. I love them 60's Camaro's. Good colour combo and perfect stance.
  23. Sublime! I would love to own a 1:1 of that model. Everything about it is just right. Perfect stance, wheels and paint. Absolute perfection.
  24. Drooled over this kit in my local hobby shop the other day, but couldn't afford it if I tried. Cant wait to see this unpacked.
  25. Welcome to the forum Vince. Awesome looking Torino you have there mate. Always nice to have a model of your 1:1.
