  7. Very nice work Kevin! Hope to do mine soon too.
  8. Very cool so far!
  9. Just got a "new" everyday ride 3 months ago. 2012 Ford Fusion SEL, no pics yet, no mods planned, but it's a cool sparkly black and is totally loaded with some unusual options including body color grille. Nothing real fancy, but can be fun. My "baby" is my 1966 Mercury Comet Caliente, I bought it in 1984 when I was 16, has outlasted 5 other dailys, 2 houses, and a marriage! Some quickie pics I took for insurance can be seen in the 1:1 reference section.
  10. Both of the are very sharp!
  11. Welcome back Robert! Looks like you haven't missed a beat! Also, very nice to see a 58 Plymouth that's NOT built as Christine!
  12. Hey everyone, I thought I might share some pictures of my 1:1 car. If anyone is interested is can post some more.

    50' Olds

Very nice build you have there!
  14. Nice work! Very cool.
  15. Harry, I've heard from some major Mopar aficionados that there may be a new Cuda with a Chrysler name plate. While most of us would think that would just be WRONG, I'm not sure how Chrysler went about cancelling the Plymouth brand. If they actually declared Plymouth bankrupt they may not be able to bring it back, but if they just discontinued, or retired it, maybe they could.
  16. It would have made more sense to keep Olds, then they would have Cadillac as the luxury brand, Olds as the mid-range brand, and Chevy as the entry level brand as was always traditional. Buick in the upper-middle range and Pontiac in the lower middle range would have been easier to let go as there was always overlap from above and below for them. It seems like people always had trouble identifying Saturn as a GM product anyways.
  17. Very nice car you have there!
  18. I live just outside of Detroit, the Auto Show is always one of the biggest events of the year, they did a pretty thorough walk around of the Avista on the local news. She really is beautiful!
  19. Sounds like you might be stuck doing this one now Harry!
  20. That engine is probably way more than he can handle, the car would look like that on it's own pretty quickly!
  21. Good job Jim!
  22. Very nice Gary!
  23. Ken, AMT did a kit of this car with the decals in 1/25, not 1/20 though, but still rather easy to find. Since the Stealth was a Mitsubishi that was re-badged for Dodge the UAW complained about a foreign car pacing the Indy 500 and it was replaced by the Viper to handle the pacing duties at the last minute. But the Stealth was still used for parade and official duties. If you notice on your pic the door says "official car", not "pace car", maybe if you searched for "official car" decals you may have better luck, similar to the set Cady did for the 37 Cord "chief observer car".
  24. Nice work Jonny
  25. If you don't want to search for that kit (it's pretty easy to find), you can still get the Cady set from ebay or Mike's Decals pretty frequently.
