My job is trucks (and vans and cars and SUVS) and I always wonder why people bother with the Ram 4500 or F450. For not much more, you can get the 5500 or F550 and get more payload capacity and towing, with not a lot more GVWR. The 4500 is kind of a weird stopgap I think. I ask my clients why they go with a 4500. The usual response is that they need more towing than a one tone, but the 5500 is too big. After an explanation, they almost always go "too big." Anyway, I have my spot on the couch warmed up, and the fireplace glass is cleaned up, so I'm ready for tonight's episode.

What pleased me? Found out my new truck has shipped. It's on a railcar somewhere between Mexico and here. So in about two weeks or so, the pallet of parts in my garage gets put to use. 2018 truck, not even here yet, and I've already bought mods for it.

My first thought? Cool truck, but why is the paint so faded and cr*ppy? Then I had a closer look. Nicely done.

I like the idea of making it a surprise. There are many kits and subjects that I really don't care about, but that could result in some out of the box thinking when it comes to completing it. If this becomes a thing, count me in.

I know that stretch of road well! I think that's one of the reason HTH is so appealing. I recognize where they film. That was especially true when they were still in Alberta. As an aside, Jamie's new Ram wrecker is not a one ton. Based on the wheels, it will be either a Ram 4500 or 5500.

You first hooked me with the Stryper Carvin V, then your Ace Frehley kicked it up a notch, but when I saw Bob and Doug? Hands down, my favourite build. This could be the best thing I've seen around here. Ever. I need to know details! Are the figures scratch built? Kits? What about the guitars and other instruments/effects? Is everything scratch built?

The entire display is great, but that truck is simply killer. VERY nicely done.

Over the past few years, I thought Brandon was a self-entitled little b**ch. Looks like he grew up a little over the past couple of years. Having said that, he just seems to be a drama magnet. Whether it's his attitude, or that icy scare a couple of years ago, or the incident with the trailer on this week's show...drama just seems to find him. lolz. That Pete is such a cool looking truck. I need to find me a wrecker kit. I'm completely inspired now. And yes, "new" Canadian drivers. I kind of feel bad saying this, but as soon as I see someone on the show that has ignored chain up warnings, or is just generally being dumb, I instinctively "know" who it'll be. Sad, but almost always true.

Not what I was expecting when I clicked on this thread, but I dig it. I dig it a lot.

I don't care what anyone says, I dig the El Camino. Especially the SS version, aka Monte Camino! I have the AMT El Cmino SS kit in the stash, as well as the old school Monogram Monte Carlo SS. Should be a good looking pair when I finally get around to them! I like the colours you chose on yours.
