  1. Thank for the info guys. Much appreciated.
  2. That's what I was hoping. I was planning on using the lights and mirrors and little things things here and there. Going for a more raceworthy rendition of the olds I did a couple years back... Maybe. Still have to decide on color(s)
  3. You guys are doing a bang up job. I've been looking for a kit that trips my trigger, ever since the idea for this one was announced. But nothing has really done it for me. I love the concept, but nothing grabs me. But... I have an idea... and I think I'm going to jump in with this. I realized earlier today, I have this and several Monogram Nascars as well... I'm going to rob parts that I need from any of those and some factory monte's also. And I have a few 3d and resin options to pick through engine wise.
  4. Very nicely done, Dan!
  5. Nice job on this one also
  6. Very nicely done
  7. I can agree with all the above. There's only one thing I've found wrong with Casey's castings... I have a hard time deciding what to put them on. The wheels always look better than my builds ?
  8. 1 monogram 70 chevelle 2 monogram 79 camaro 3 revell 69 camaro 4 revell 67 chevelle 5 revell 83/85 Olds 6 revell gmc snow plow 7 monogram trans am/superbird/boss 302/challenger/roadrunner/Monte Carlo... And so on 8 foose ford 9 amt 50 3100 10 revell 65 chevy Stepside
  9. I made an order as soon as I heard. And I'm sure I'll be back.
  10. Thank you guys! I do appreciate it!
  11. Wondering if you guys could tell me what you use to replicate these things? I've used Sharpies, but it doesn't really look the part. Maybe I'm not doing it right?
  12. Very nicely done
  13. I do have a question... Just for curiosity... Would a kit like a general lee, the 68 mustang, the monogram gtr, one of the corvette racing kits or the like qualify in something like this? I'm asking incase some one new to all this wants to jump in, but not have the skill set to do drastic surgery. I'm still looking into a NASCAR mutant myself.
  14. Sorry for your loss, Rick. Thoughts and prayers for you and your family.
  15. Awesome looking builds going on done or not.. Looking forward to seeing what you finish with.
  16. Thanks everybody! I think I'm gonna try to make a couple of shiny ones to see if I still can... then back to weathering I suppose. Maybe green cars this time? lol. I have been messing with different colors a little along to see what trips my trigger.
  17. Thank ya sir! I agree... I'd love to have a '49 to model after my cousin's ride
  18. I plan on finishing some things I've already started... but... I know that idea will last til about January 2nd
  19. Finished up what I'm sure is my last build of 2020... This was for a buildoff on FB. Did some subtle customizing, but stayed within the rules. I cut off all the bumper mounts. Raised the front bumper to the grill and deleted the back bumper completely. Lowered the suspension as low as it would go without scratchbuilding anything. Oh and you guessed it... It was green, like all the rest this year. Oddly enough, I ended 2020 with the same kit I started it with... As always, thanks for looking... Happy New Year and on to the next....
  20. Some nice trucks showing up. Gotta upload the rest of mine.
