Canadian 1961 Pontiac Laurentian conversion

Looks great -
I needed something to work on while parts are soaking, paint and glue drying and all my 32 Fords are all big glue bombs I do not feel like dealing with right now. It's some new parts and other used and might be missing some and will see what I can can do with it,will be a stock body with white wall tires and spinner hub caps and most likely a OHV engine under the hood.

It fit good but no room for a fan on the engine.

I still need to find original seats and rims,I got a set or rims coming for the convertible but will need another. Might get some five spokes until I find them.

Along with the convertible I also have a original issue hardtop,it was originally built as a race car but I am going to put it back stock.

I wish the 60s kit could have been built like this but the hotrod version was more a late 50s style which was more close to the time as I think it came out around 62. It took me some time to gather all the parts to build my unbuilt kit like this not knowing I would gather the parts to build two.
-
Going for a early 50s look.
-
I pieced this together from mostly 60s parts from a couple partial 60kits I got to build another 34. The complete chassis, fenders, hood and roof and other small parts are from the Monogram 34 kits, the rims and hubcaps are from the Monogram 40 pickup kit also from the 60s and the body is from the 90s and the engine is from a 80s 40 pickup. Rear tires are from a 60s monogram race car and front tires are from the 37 Ford pickup. I have a unbuilt 34 kit and parts all from the 60s to do the same as this one but will might be next year now.

Yes I am interested.

This is one of my friend's thrift store finds this past summer and was missing the engine and a couple wheels,I was at a model swap meet yesterday and found a engine so while paint and glue is drying got it out to put back together. Going to leave the paint alone but might paint the top white and trying to find the correct wheels.

Tamiya maroon matches the 60s Monogram maroon, just the body was painted and the roof and fenders are original.
