  1. I think I can modify a A engine to look like one.
  2. Well since I have a 90s Monogram 40 Ford p/u that needs to be built and a Monogram A engine I am thinking about trying to make it a 41 with a 4 cylinder.,does anyone know if its similar to a A engine.
  3. I think all the early iron series had the same wheels and tires,I have some 90s wheels and tires I will not be using.
  4. I guess it's time to never say never, now I can say I have enough but who knows what will happen.
  5. I said I was done getting any more but that was not the truth, found a very nice 60s version built stock that I just had to get and would go rather nicely with my other three. I also picked up a 90s version I was going to use for parts but did not so it will get built eventually and will post pics when the 60s version arrives. I think I am addicted to getting those 60s models.
  6. I have a 58 Pontiac that looks to have a few layers of paint and what would the best thing to use that will not cause anyore issues then it has. It's a little warped.
  7. It does look similar to a Stovebolt six and everything is about in the same place but a oil filter will need to be added to the block.
  8. Getting there, going to do a little detailing and it will be done until I can find glass that will fit.
  9. It got a engine and it's a Y block and a 3 speed, years ago I seen a rough 61 Starliner at a all Ford swap meet with a six and if I had a six this one would have gotten one. No need to finish the top of the engine on this one.
  10. I would like to build a 50s to early 60s Ford truck with a six so were any of those sizes ever made.
  11. Would this have been a promo but the custom rear bumper was made to fit so it possibly had optional custom parts.
  12. I think the top has been slightly chopped in the front and will have to fix that when I find the windows.
  13. Going through the stash of parts and found metal bumpers,55 Buick and Caddy and a 50 Ford and some others.
  14. Found the stock rear bumper.
  15. Look at this chassis that was on it and making a 58 Edsel frame fit,has custom rear bumper that eventually get removed and will not be perfect but anything is better then how it arrived.
  16. That is where I thought I put it.
  17. I will have to post some pics of the home made frame it has,it was made from the parts trees.
  18. I figured that is how it would be,I do have a chassis from the latest 58 Edsel I can see how it fits.
  19. For example I came up with a 60 Ford Starliner that is missing parts so would parts from the latest version work on the original 1960 version or is it totally different. I am missing the chassis, rear bumper and glass.
  20. I had this 40 Ford sedan box for about 40 years and have been thinking about building one similar to the one on the box for a couple years, well I found a almost complete kit so time to start. It's not going to be exact but will be in as close to the colors as I can find but will be more as a hotrod,it will have a dropped front axle with big and little tires but will have the original hubcaps but no trim rings and have a big engine under the hood. The engine will most likely be the 390 from the 34 pick up kit since I have a few.
  21. I think most are not worth messing with, alot we're put together without a chassis and wheels glued in place with parts from the trees or the axles some how glued in and most are common AMTs. Going to remove the usable parts and throw the bodies in a box or give away, just not worth spending any money on to save when it can still be bought.
