I need to find me some more correct 1 1/2 ton truck wheels to make it look better.

Seeing the other one I just had to build my own from some junk A parts I had laying around,its a combination of AMT and Monogram parts.

Where did the rear wheels come from,what I am using looks too new.

I kind of wish I never seen this on as has taken on a life of its own and I stopped on the other projects to finish it.mine is going to look like it has a rebuilt motor.

Here is what mine will look like,I would like to find a older set of rear tires but these are what I have right now. I need to make a firewall and find a hood,going to leave the frame full length so I can attach a bumper with a tow hook and this thing is going to look cobbled togather.

I am working on one while paint and glue dry non other projects,mine is going to get a semi rear end and dual wheels since that is what I have and is going to be a combination of Monogram and AMT A parts.

I am going to build this one at stock height and might get another to modify later.

I just started a 70 F100 today

Started on it tonight and looks to be a nicely detailed kit,not too happy with the rims and tires since they are like the ones that come in the Revell kits and make it difficult to use different tires but will come up with a solution.

I would like to make it look like a 50s hotrod and loose the bumpers,since the frame still has the bumper brackets and in good shape I will find another chassis in case I would like to put it back to the 70s resto rod look. I have taken it apart enough so I can put the windows back in.

Picked it up on a trade here and now to do something with it,I wish I could separate the wheels from the axles since those 70s wheels and tires need to go but I doubt it can happen so thinking about the chassis from the ZZ Top of 33 chopped top coupe kits and then some steel rims. Its complete except for one bumper and was built good.

I picked a green that according to the cap looked like a 40s color but when dried looks to be a military color.

I might have to build one too since i do have some A parts.

Looks like I am back on ebay looking for parts since the little hobby shop closed in June,I am now only looking at what I need if it has a decent buy it now price and got about 6 parts off the same seller.

I have a coupe and a sedan that I built back in the mid 70s that will be getting restored soon.

Here are a couple 40s I built with left over and scrounged parts,the sedan has a sedan delivery interior and made like a business sedan.

Just picked one up today at a local hobby shop and was wondering if anyone has modified them,I was wondering what it takes to lower them a little.

It started out with a sedan body made into a home made p/u but that body was just too far gone to bring back so I got a sedan delivery body,the frame I started to use had the bumper brackets cut off so I am looking for a frame since I now want bumpers.

After seeing this I might have to rebuild my 70s version into the 60s little deuce,that is the first older Monogram that I seen molded in white and in my 40 plus years of building I never got one until I got a 90s kit.

I seen it at the hobby shop last saturday and will have to get it soon,I would like to build it as a cheap version with a slant six.

I am suprised it did not come molded in red like the big version,I have the 70s black version that I need to rebuild.

No its not going have a straight axle,that axle is junk and should be in the trash.

Its going to be a 60s era hotrod.

That is it.

Just getting started and its in color and to be unusual it will have the 413 Mopar motor from the 49 merc kit
