  1. The void is medium -heavy class offerings is slowly beginning to close, but nothing now in a Chevy 3d print. There is a very nice late 50's GMC done by Global in this weight range. I received one and very happy with it. 3d resin model truck conversion cabs and parts
  2. Was thinking about a big 6 gas job also for build. The Mack 6 cyl. diesel has similar dimensions of the big 503. Valve cover looks similar to a V8 Detroit Diesel. Add a distributor cap and spark plug wires, could get close.
  3. Sharp looking rig, 5 hole Alcoa's with paint scheme and classic decals really set of the old school look.
  4. Very nice 1 ton conversion work, looks great, paint is excellent, interior color is spot on for '65
  5. Another super clean build, great subject, very popular vehicles at one time! Medium heavies have always been my favorites. Paint job is super nice, great choice for wheels! The more I look at it, it could pass for a Napco 4x4 or 6x4 conversion.
  6. Great color combo and graphics along with excellent craftsmanship, the cool mods bring this 70's tractor into modern times.
  7. Beautiful work on the modifications and accessories, a super clean combo!
  8. Very impressive fleet truck build, everything looks perfect! Especially like the super detailing work, definitely one of the best!
  9. Great job on the longbed and small back window conversion, looks like most mid 60's Chevy 3/4 ton pickups after 2 or 3 decades of use, most all had worn down paint and wheel changes. I remember a lot of Buick and Caddy engines in period GMC's, but not many in Chevy's.
  10. Nice build, spares on the front bumper were a common site on camper haulers. Like the finish on this base model and correct factory style mirrors. The F 350 pickup was lower on production numbers, but high on toughness!
  11. Thanks Lee. I have always been impressed with Modelhaus pieces, they were the gold standard in aftermarket, we were lucky to have Bill's awesome one of kind pieces available at one time.
  12. The hard work and dedication to details on this tanker really stands out, a classy piece of equipment. The paint scheme and wheel choice is top notch!
  13. Great to see another medium-heavy class hauler! I like what you did with it, looks tough, logging its share of long hauls year after year. Mercury sleeper and AC are cool touches.
  14. Really like the paint scheme and grill detail work, nice job. Just curious, does it have an engine under the seat?
  15. Correct, Moebius screwed up on the Ford F 100 hubcaps, they were shrunken down F 250 styled hubcaps to fit a 15" rim. Finally got the F 100 hubcaps right with the Merc 100 kit. By accident, the hubcaps in the '69-'72 F 100 kits resemble the smaller one year only '67 F 250 hubcap that only fits carryover 1966 8 lug rims used in 1967. The '68 F 250 2wd and '72 F 250 4x4 kits come with correct size hubcaps. The '67 F 250 foam truck from the Emergency episode probably has 17.5" rims, something that would need to be 3d printed.
  16. True, it would have been nice if we got back of cab details in the re issue, but luckily, bodies generally cover the back of the cab area. As you mentioned earlier, the '65-66 Moebius pickups are the best candidates for kit bashing and modifying in the '61-66 series of pickups.
  17. I agree Carmak, much more flexibility if you want something other than a 1/2 ton pickup! I'm presently working on a '60 F 500 ( 1 1/2 ton ). Only modification to build a F 500 is cutting out the front fender a little larger and adding a larger front bumper and wheels and of course, a larger truck donor frame. The '63 conversion into an F 500 will keep you busy a long while.
  18. Very impressive build, every detail is super realistic, excellent paint scheme and colors!
  19. Thanks, a sales brochure came in handy for reference. Frames and suspensions were new for '63, remained the same up to'72.
  20. Thanks for your input Tim, yes, I agree, would have cost some coin to re tool the '61-'63 cab for anything else other than a unibody, and IMO, the reason AMT never did the '64 Ford pickup (shown below), would have required a lot of new tooling and cost a lot more money. Too bad AMT gave up on new model Ford pickups right when sales started to explode on real 1:1 pickups in the mid 60's to early 70's.
  21. Thanks for the info Chuck, will need to purchase a Gundam marker. The red stripe was a '63-'64 F 100 only thing.
  22. First time I've seen this, was thrown off by the title. Super realistic build of a well used tractor after a cross country run, not easy to do, all I'm capable of building are fresh off the dealership lots. All the extra aftermarket pieces are worth every penny! Great looking paint scheme, screams mid 70's!
