  1. i have not tried mine yet and only paid $29 + the ride.. but what i had seen on the Facebook Groups it was well worth it. that's what sold me.
  2. welcome Big Jake, great looking pickup.
  3. you can touch it in 24 hrs, but i always let mine set a week most of the time. and it also will depend on how many coats on paint you spray on it. i painted one a few days ago with 2 coats and 2 days later complete dry. i guess i should have put that in my post. also its gonna depend on what part of the US you live. i live here in south Louisiana near the Gulf where we have no winter.
  4. i been using Rust-oleum paints & primers for years with no problems. its just in a bigger can. shake it 3 minuets by the clock. mine always dried within a week but my hobby room and paint booth are inside
  5. looks like some of the parking lots down south..lol..great job...
  6. i have ordered from him before. and i know the owner Jamie Rahmoeller very well. he is very busy not only selling model parts but working a real job also. i have waited 2 months for my parts to arrive before. if you want what he sells be ready to wait at least 6 weeks. as far as him sending you a notification telling you when your parts will arrive you can forget that. i take it you live across the pond. all i can tell you is if you order from him you will get your parts but you gonna have to wait a while for them to arrive.. one other thing since its going across the pond ask him if he will insure the parts..
  7. Rustoleum paint will spray thick if they cold. keep them in a warm room the day before u spray them (lot of builders dont build in side their home) as far as the tips plugging up or not spraying right after you have used them and they set up they is a phone number on the can you can call and ask for replacement spray tips . just tell then you are a model builder and you use their pants. she will ask you how many you want. i got 15 when i called. they free & free shipping..
  8. i dont use much white , but its cheap on Amazon so ill get some just to have on hand..
  9. i would be doing beef jerky in it and let the model dry natural..?
  10. i dont know if the windshield is like the Mobius F 250 & F 100 but i know on both of them they are a pain to put in. the first one i built the F 250 i never did get it to fit right. so after that build was finished i pulled the f 100 out and got to looking at the windshield and noticed it was to wide. so i took my sanding stick and little by little sanding the sides & testing till i sanded around a 1/16 on each side then it fit right in. i dont know if the F 350 is the same but if it is sand the edges ans round the corners a little and it will save u some choice words..
  11. my favored all around kit..what a Awesome job you did..
  12. I strongly disagree. I been using Rustoleum paints & primers on models for many years. with no problems like running like water..lol..that's the biggest joke i ever heard. he just got tired of shaking the big can of paint. you cant shake the big cans of paint like you do the small ones. they require after they been sating at the least 3 minuets on the clock. then while you using them depending on how long you sat them down 1 to 2 minuets.. Hobby paints are not all what they suppose to be ether..
  13. i use Rust-oleum Painters Touch 2X all the time. never had any problem with it until i sprayed the Moebius Ford F-250 snow plow truck hood and had the same problem as you did. my problem was i just did not prime the hood well enough..once i Easy Off the pant off and re primed (white. always) no problem with the paint. so you may not had a thick enough coat of primmer on the hood..
  14. Terry Borchers at... customizedbydesign@yahoo.com he does custom decals. i dont know if he will do that but its worth a start..here is a office phone # also as he owns a big co that does all kinds of other things. (859) 384-3289..if you cant talk to him on the phone just email him with a picture of what you want done..
  15. welcome back to the new age of model building Rick..
  16. that is one Beautiful truck..Outstanding job..
  17. i bought a set a couple years ago . i dont like them. they just dont fit right for me. have not put them on over 5 times..
