  1. Typical stupidity? a bit harsh don't you think?
  2. This was the first "real " movie I ever saw in a theater, I remember my brother taking me on a Saturday morning. Prior t that movies were Disney cartoons and Benji ! It definitely got me hooked on racing at the time.
  3. Very well done!
  4. Yes the interior striping is included
  5. Found this on my doorstep today, courtesy of a friend a recently done a favor for. Parts all pretty decent, nice chrome, decals have a vintage look to them Three versions, stock drag or custom. Great box art which I forgot to photograph and will add here in a little bit.
  6. Very, Very nice!!
  7. Might be TS 56, Brilliant Orange.
  8. I think it's a great idea that Revell is trying. I'm curious to see what the prices will be though. I've often seen kids looking at kits in the LHS only to be turned away by mom or dad once you start adding up the prices, kit, glue, maybe bottle of paint. Hopefully there will be a few different colors for each kit too. Two kids, two colors, etc...
  9. Yes, kit decals laid down perfectly, I used a little Walthers but not sure it was needed. Used Tamiya AS-15 Tan for the trim, then a little Future to give the wood a slight polished look.
  10. Yeah, I dded a wash after I took the pics, kind of slipped my mind when finishing up.
  11. Revell Kit, parts box surfboards, side pipes from Mercury Custom kit.
  12. Yes, stock parts are included.
  13. LHS had them yesterday but it was $31.95! Revell Vette Gasser was only $23.00 So I opted for that instead. New reissue of Paddy Wagon was high too, $34.95
  14. I need to find a Union Jack to put on one of these, I've got about four ideas crammed in my head now......make it stop!
  15. Might do mine like one of the ones in the original Italian Job movie
  16. Check out the link to a build posted earlier, It compares the two a little, I've just started mine and can tell it's going to fall together quite nicely., The Tamiya has a few fiddly areas but nice for it's age.
  17. Here's the parts trees.
  18. Just got one also, seems really nice, I'll try to get some pics up in the morning. Oddly enough my first question was why tag it with the California Wheels moniker, doesn't really seem to fit in that one, but that's just me.
