  1. Only way I can see to fix that is to cut it down and put it over a Viper chassis while ditching all the Batman nonsense.
  2. Looks great, I gotta agree with Bill here too, not sure why, but I do dig their body kits!
  3. To be honest, I'm digging the cantilevered top look it has going there!
  4. I've talked to a few people in the safer areas of Florida, one guy is pretty sure abput half of the evacuees are now where he lives!
  5. You know, it's a good thing I don't have the money or anyplace to park them, otherwise I'd do the same with XJ Cherokees, Turbo K-Cars, and maybe even Chrysler 200s and 2011 and newer Dodge Avengers.............
  6. May have to try to use that hood vent trick on one of my AMT Snap General Lee kits, that looks like it's not too difficult.
  7. Lol, I sent pics of it to a friend via text and the first response was "why has this taken so long"!
  8. Those simplified chassis to make for a quicker easier build on the older kits, although the newer chassis or interior sets for the older kits would be nice, even if it's the interior only to bring the interiors up to the detail levels of Revell's Snap Kits.
  9. Looks fantastic, is that the new snap kit?!
  10. Anybody here ever go to it?
  11. Dad and I went to the Dupage show today too. Picked up the Atlantic, 300c Custom, Astro Supremes, and the Jimmy Flinstone resin idol heads and Caddy Shack Gopher. Dad has decided to get back into the hobby and picked up the '41 Plymouth kit for himself! It'll be the first model Dad has built since I was 5...........and I just turned 40 last Friday...............
  12. Well, Dad went with and ended up buying a 90's reissue of the AMT '41 Plymouth Coupe, he even bought that before I bought the Lindberg Chryer Atlantic and AMT/ERTL '57 300C Custom kits I found!
  13. It's kind of a rubbery coating over the aluminum body, which is a bit thicker than a #2 handle, since it's kinda like a Maglight in construction.
  14. Lol, who else hit up Hobby Lobby for one of these today then? Picked mine up with the 40% coupon this morning too!
  15. Wow, that LED puts out a decent amount of light for a hobby knife
  16. I know that feeling, I think the list of things my Cherokee still needs might be nearing how much I could sell it for if that stuff was still good.
  17. Welp, now I can add alternator to the list of parts needed for my Jeep.............took it to the office today since the lot was being repaved and I don't like parking my 200 in the street unattended and somewhere in the 7 mile round trip, it gave up the ghost. I did finally swap out the dried out wiper blades on my lunch break though for the new ones I bought back in May.
  18. Now that I always will have Sundays off, I will be there too!
  19. PM me with what you find out, I'd have to use my Visa.
  20. I've got a couple shorty hobby knives from Great Planes (must have forgot I had one and bought a second), I can see this being much more useful in regular use over the shorty knives.
  21. Went to top off the tires, shocks, and radiator on my Jeep so I could drive it to work while the lot is being partially repaved only to have the valve in the left front tire start giving me problems and I couldn't find a valve removal tool so I could pull it out and see if that was bad or if it just needed to be retightened........didn't bother to to check the water level at that point as it was too late to find an open parts store.
  22. Just might stop by and buy one on Saturday!
  23. That would be awesome for painting Lexan R/C bodies and making the blacked out portions of glass on models!
  24. Well, this was fantastic, at work,we each have one of our calls pulled and graded on a scale of up to 100 points, with extra possible. The call if mine that was pulled last week wasn't great to me, although I've been told it was for somebody that is still as new to the job as I am. The number this week ended up being a full 100 points, and this is only my second truly full week on the phones!
  25. Thanks guys, I'll give those a shot!
