  1. Picked up one of the Lindberg '61 Chevy yesterday at Hobby Lobby and some Tamiya Mica Blue and Pure White paint from Lombard Hobbies to eventually use on it......yes, kinda want to build a Dan Gurney BTCC Impala inspired car using the tires, and maybe wheels, in the Polyglas Gasser kit. Also bought a new sleed body for my Traxxas Stampede and aluminum Motorplate and pinion gears for my 4-Tec 2.0 from Leasure Hours Hobbies yesterday.
  2. I have a difficult enough time with YouTube anyway, especially now that I have a SmarTV, stuff like this, the Smoking Tire One Takes, 1320 Video, the Cleetus Mcfarland, and The History Guy all make it worse !
  3. The American Iron and Mixed Origin cars that show up on that course just astound me, late 50's Squarebird, Mid 50's Caddy V8 powered sports car, Nash Metropoliton. Then you have the usual Suspects, Falcons, Vettes, Mustangs, the occasional Camaro, and I can't leave out the Cobras!
  4. One of my favorite YouTube Channels, Goodwood TV https://www.youtube.com/user/GoodwoodTV/videos And yes, there is a Studebaker Lark, Plymouth Barracuda, AND a Ford Galaxy ()all out there cutting it up with the Alfas and Cortinas
  5. I'll post the following videos as they show up on my acct. I love watching the other videos of American cars running on the track and driveway against the British contemporaries.
  6. Apparenly it will be tracked with other vintage race cars once done, from the reply I got from the guy who's redoing it. Said that will be in video 3.
  7. Huh, the place building that car is about 10-15min from home and just a short drive from the locations where both the Toys "R" Us and HobbyTown I used to work at had been!
  8. Outside of the Stutz, I have no interest in those, ot the upright grilled regular production cars from that era.
  9. I'm wondering where Red Green is?!
  10. That little 3.6l is a great engine, while it's a touch soft on off idle torque, once you get past 1500rpm, it's got torque everywhere and happily pulls to 7000rpm. My 200 has one in the same 283hp/260lb/ft tune and 6 speed auto transaxle as the Caravan/T&C and Journey but it only weighs around 3600lbs. Best part, I was able to get a lower trim, low option car (Touring trim is just above the base LX, then had the optional 18" rims and basic uConnect head unit), so it's on the lighter end of the spectrum for V-6 JS body 200 sedans.
  11. Like I said, used to.
  12. At one time, those were all throw away cars.
  13. I used to have that ability for a long time too! Now it only happens if I go to Michaels or Hobby Lobby..........
  14. Found this fascinating.
  15. Yeah, right with you there Danno.
  16. That's easy, Center Steer!
  17. Thanks for the advice everybody! I'll have to look closer at the kit I plan to do this with (MPC 1/16 T/A) and see what would work best there.
  18. What would be the best "bonding agent" to glue clear T-Tops to a roof so I can do the body work to make the subject look like a solid roof car?
