  1. I'll post the following videos as they show up on my acct. I love watching the other videos of American cars running on the track and driveway against the British contemporaries.
  2. Apparenly it will be tracked with other vintage race cars once done, from the reply I got from the guy who's redoing it. Said that will be in video 3.
  3. Huh, the place building that car is about 10-15min from home and just a short drive from the locations where both the Toys "R" Us and HobbyTown I used to work at had been!
  4. Outside of the Stutz, I have no interest in those, ot the upright grilled regular production cars from that era.
  5. I'm wondering where Red Green is?!
  6. That little 3.6l is a great engine, while it's a touch soft on off idle torque, once you get past 1500rpm, it's got torque everywhere and happily pulls to 7000rpm. My 200 has one in the same 283hp/260lb/ft tune and 6 speed auto transaxle as the Caravan/T&C and Journey but it only weighs around 3600lbs. Best part, I was able to get a lower trim, low option car (Touring trim is just above the base LX, then had the optional 18" rims and basic uConnect head unit), so it's on the lighter end of the spectrum for V-6 JS body 200 sedans.
  7. Like I said, used to.
  8. At one time, those were all throw away cars.
  9. I used to have that ability for a long time too! Now it only happens if I go to Michaels or Hobby Lobby..........
  10. Found this fascinating.
  11. Yeah, right with you there Danno.
  12. That's easy, Center Steer!
  13. Thanks for the advice everybody! I'll have to look closer at the kit I plan to do this with (MPC 1/16 T/A) and see what would work best there.
  14. What would be the best "bonding agent" to glue clear T-Tops to a roof so I can do the body work to make the subject look like a solid roof car?
  15. So long as it's not that bright yellow that the Revell Snap New Beetles were molded in, I shot Duplicolor White Sandable Primer on it and that came out looking like a block of butter in the shape of a New Beetle!
  16. Got an old XJ that could use a good scrubbing if you want relive the old days, it's even green
  17. Lol, I'd be afraid that it would shove the scooter backwards while the rider continued forward over the handlebars
  18. I'll take one, or so. Last time it was issued and I bought one, it seemed like it was cursed, had a string of bad luck with and with it around and ended up tossing it in the dumpster at work figuring I'd get another one........guess it's time now!
  19. About 9-10 years ago my Sister had bought Rise Against tickets so she and her Ex could go to their Chicago show that year (I think it was at The Metro), and since they had broken up after she bought the tickets, I went with her even though they aren't really my thing. The local band that opened for them was playing when we got there and up along the front row, head banging with at least a dozen teenagers, were two guys who were probably well in their 40's (and probably in their mid-50's by now).......and they were banging away just as hard, if not harder than the kids around them! I can actually see those two doing just that in another 20-30 years.
  20. I haven't gotten there yet, I'm only on about page 58 so far.
