  1. Got a laugh out of this too.
  2. Didn't please me, per say, did make me LOL though!
  3. I felt that was stupid at the time too, filling up today and seeing Regular at $2.95/gal reminded me of that. Luckily, I live less than 4mi from work now and my 200 doesn't gave to use gasoline and was able to top off with E85 at $2.17/gal. Just happy I don't have to run Premium, same Speedway with the above pricing was also selling 93 for $3.65/gal and diesel for $2.89/gal.
  4. That would explain why the car looks off then, I knew about the bags, but not the openings!
  5. What kills me though, it's GLOSS clear, at least put a flat clear on it.
  6. There was a new IMC that had a couple old JoHan kits that they were selling, no clue what happened to them though.
  7. Reminds me of this Chopped early Ford I saw at a local cruise night several years ago, badly boogered weld, gaps between welded panels were there should have been welds holding the roof on, and then there is the rust...........to quote Marty Pascel (Rob Schnieder in Down Periscope) "I feel I need a tetnus shot just from looking at it. The only thing holding her together, are the bird droppings sir."
  8. I still have the '08 issue of this kit and know exactly where it's at, keep looking at it thinking I need to grab it and start doing something with it again.
  9. I thought that was pretty good too.
  10. After Daimler got done with their pillaging of the company.
  11. In many cases, beer holder is far more accurate......likely here in particular.
  12. With thr success of places like Welder-Up Garage, yes.
  13. Sure there is, but this is a family friendly forum
  14. While I'm aware that I am resurrecting the dead here, does anybody know if there is a Jeep 4.0l I-6 in 1/25 scale? Don't care if it is resin or 3d printed, just a good rendition of it. I have the Pacer kit with the 258, which is related, but would rather have something more along the lines of the EFI equipped 4.0l instead. Tamiya had a 1/24 YJ Wrangler with a 4.0l, but those appear to be discontinued and pricey right now.
  15. Finally was able to get the interior pics to load, need to start attacking things with my new Dremel to make the back seat fit.......good thing the weekend is about here!
  16. That's sweet looking!
  17. It's new, 2017 or 2018 is the first year here in the US. Just reminded me thought, saw one of the new Bentley SUVs a couple weeks back.
  18. To be honest, the front bumper on the turbo 4 1LE cars look better, the bumper cover flows across the front where that black bar is and better separates the top and bottom grills, kinda like the SRT and Scat Pack Chargers vs the SXT and R/T bumpers.
  19. My 200 has the 3.6l and the JS Body 200 and Avenger were the lightest cars you could get that engine in, I also discovered that the 3.6l with the factory flex fuel tune LOVES E85 as well as sounds dang good with a Flowmaster Super 10 muffer. While this was an Illinois tagged 200 in this video, it's not mine, at one point the car had the Mopar Avenger/200 CIA, Flowmaster Super 10 muffler with the stock resonator in the middle, and an E85 tune specific to this car.
  20. So I can eventually put regular sand paper on the sanding heads for the PediPerfect, eventually....... No problem there Casey
  21. I just so happened to buy 2 of them and a couple of the afore mentioned Chevy Van kits back in 2012 and when this club build came up, I knew 1976 kits, new or reissues are few and far between without hitting the shows or the www and decided to use those. Could be worse though, the only club members younger than me were born in '79
  22. Picked these up over the last couple weeks, only paid $1.00 for the PediPerfect too!
  23. Very little actually! The rear is stock height and those steamrollers juuuuust fit and I just had to redrill the front axle holes just above the stock ones and flatten out the boss that comes out to locate the stock wheels. It'll be more effort to get the piano wire to make the axles from then cut those down to fit as well as making that Recaro style rear seat from the Fairlane kit fit the Gremlin interior tub!
  24. Finally got around to start mocking up the stance I want for my C.A.R.S. in Minature Christmas 2018 build. We're building "Cars from the Year You Were Born" and having been born in 1976, I'm kinda limited on interesting things to build that are interesting. I had a couple of these AMT '76 Gremlins laying around as well as a couple 70's Chevy Van kits and decided to start with one of the Gremlins in a psuedo ProTouring build with the stance from the 70's Pro Stock Gremlins and rolling on the Pegasus Centerline style wheels. Right now I'm going to keep the 5.0l AMC V-8 with some of the NASCAR goodies from an AMT Matador unless somebody knows of a 1/25 scale Jeep 4.0l that just might fit. Interior wise, I'm planning on modding the tub to fit the seats the Vette/Recaro style seats from the AMT '57 Fairlane 500 kit, as well as the aftermarket shifter and Viper-esk steering wheel from that kit. Here's what I have so far.
