    Excellent!!
  6. Not bad at all! Good job. And, yes. I hear the banjos, too!
  7. Amen, Brother! It is one spectacular kit. UNQUESTIONABLY the finest big rig kit ever produced. Bar none. Bring 'em on, builders!
  8. Guilty as charged ~ the project slowed to a halt ... or, I should say a temporary break. It's been on hiatus too long ... time for the premiere of Season 2. I'll get it revved up next week. Thanks for your encouragement. Have a great holiday weekend ~ don't forget WHY we call it MEMORIAL Day! God Bless those that have given all for their country!
  9. There's really no need for so many duplicate photos. For example, one view of an open door, a view of the interior floor, one view of the dashboard, one view of the right rear quarter panel, one view of the console is quite enough.
  10. That's not a Toy ... that's a Hyun. Congrats on your nice new ride.
  11. WOW! AWESOME! GREAT REVIEW!! So, how soon will this new Randy Derr Sprint Car Kit be available at my LHS??? Seriously, nice feature, Gregg! Bring it on.
  12. Good job! Great comment!
  13. It is. The Lil Deuce is the 1:24 version of the 1:8 Big Deuce.
  14. Well said, well thought out, Rob ... Donn ... Mike.
  15. They indicated that if these sell well, it's only the beginning ...
  16. DJ, If you're gonna insist on wracking my brain, you're gonna have to wait until I can go to my locker and put my brain cup on. Be back.

    "Lime 'em up"

Nice looking build and great color/graphics, but ~ Dude, that car is screaming for a nice clear coat. Then it would really pop!! JMHO.
  18. Bob noted in his original post that the drivers side spotlight was missing. More importantly, this model ~~ like nearly all mass-market die cast cars ~~ has unrealistic and un-naturally mounted spotlights. I realize there are limitations to what they can do with a product designed for sales to everyone from discerning adult collectors to small children desiring playtoys, but, the spotlights aren't accurate enough to worry about. My advice whether they are missing, broken or intact: Rip 'em out and replace them with more accurate items anyway. Still, otherwise a very nice replica.
  19. Cherish the work while you've got it, Chris. Not everyone does. If you get a chance to swing by ... it's at Dale's house ... we kick it off at 4pm Saturday afternoon and go until 6pm Sunday! 24 hours right? No, our math is screwy. It's 24 hours of building frenzy plus two 1-hour time-outs for chow = 26 hours elapsed. We'll be watching the Indy, the Coca-Cola 600, the Grand Prix, Desert Car Kings, Car Warriors, and a bunch of racing and car-ogling videos plus some GSL seminars on DVD. It's a pure hoot.
  20. Very much very nice!! Good job.
  21. Dittos. Don't know how I missed it before, but I'm glad I saw it now. Sweeeeet!!
  22. Chris, Looking great!!! Speaking of next weekend ... it's our 3rd annual 24-hour build session in Queen Creek. You ought to stop by if you get a chance. (Or, there's still an empty seat!)
  23. Rebel Yell! Yaaaahoooooooo! Nice build; nice tribute. 57forever.
  24. Nice looking build!! PS: Harry's right.
