  1. Welcome, Guy! Looking forward to your posts. In the meantime, we'll leave the light on for you! ?
  2. Yep. Rendered me speechless at least twice now. Working on three, aren't you?
  3. Terrific work, Kurt! Go, go, go! Fortunately, you have a whole 56 days, 8 hours and 52 minutes to finish it up!
  4. Stunning, Jason!
  5. Verrrrrry interesting! Clever idea, Greg. Easier to 'chrome' the grille and hoop and leave the headlamps clear than to start with a chrome grille with chrome headlamps! Unique!
  6. That is just too kewl for skewl!!! Nice catch, and, by the way . . . great job on the cleanup!
  7. The MasterCaster strikes again!
  8. Unfortunately, the wheels aren't 100%. Better than the goon/tj/roscoe kits, but still not completely accurate. Unless you are building your Monaco as a 1977 model. The steel disc wheels like this new kit has were last used in 1977. The new, slotted wheels were optional on '77 Monacos/Furys, but in 1978 (which this kit is said to be), the slotted wheels were standard and the disc wheels went back to pickupland. And, PS: I haven't gotten my hands on one of the newly issued CHP Monaco kits yet, but I've seen some pretty good pictures. I don't believe the light bar is the Force 440 light bar. The one in the new kit is better detailed and closer to accurate. (That word again. ?)

  11. Cool!
  12. EVERYTHING, literally everything else you need! The cab / chassis / engine / interior are the only components the Ranger kit does not have. It includes the compartment body, all the slamlocks, hand rails, trim, lights (including lightbar), extinguishers, running boards, mirrors, wheels, tires, and the proper decals, just EVERYTHING! Plus an extensive and detailed instruction booklet. It's an amazing kit.
  13. Squad 51 is available currently as a multi-media kit from Ranger Detail Technologies. All you need is red paint and a Dodge pickup kit such as the Lil Red Express. Ranger’s Squad 51 kit is awesome!!! Highly recommended.
  14. So it wasn’t just me. Or Russian meddling.
  15. Looking great, Brad.
  16. I’ve always loved the looks of these Pontiacs in police garb, although I didn’t think there were all that many in actual service back in there day. Buford T. Justice was my biggest exposure to Poncho Po-po-mobiles. Then I recently saw a handful of episodes of “Police Story” in syndication where all the LAPD squads (bunches of them) were the Ponchos. Very impressive looking squads. I can’t wait ‘til Dwayne and Greg and Mike get this one ready for market.
