  1. Well done.
  2. Nothing to do with not being willing to pay it, I just don't have pockets that deep. If I had that kind of disposable income I wouldn't think twice. Why does everyone assume it's because a person is too cheap?
  3. Interesting detail, but factory stock plugs would have been painted engine color, so the molded in ones would be fine. Unless for some reason the kit engine has none. Very cool.
  4. Well that's probably out of my range.
  5. Nice work.
  6. Excellent. I used a MCG detail set on mine.
  7. Beautiful. How did you do your dash?
  8. Beautiful. Are you selling them?
  9. I could never get used to graveyard shifts. Don't know how you do it.
  10. I'm sorry if I come across harshly,  didn't intend to.  I appreciate all you did. I overall like that kit. It may become my first gasser kit,  as a gasser doesn't need a correct top. I am beginning to think you may be right that the problem is that thick ledge. But I usually build factory stock and had hoped perhaps to kitbash it with amts 66. I guess really I can't afford to do that either lol. I'm not a rivet counter and this is really the first time I've been concerned.  I never did see the issue with the Revell jaguar.  I'd really like to see a breakdown on the stock kit.  Again  sorry.

Sounds interesting.  Would be nice to not have to kitbash. I would have sent a pm, but it says you can't receive any.

Lea...thx for the heads-up on the mail stash...I have now cleared out at least some of the stuff, should be OK for now.  TB

  11. Yes, and thanks. In spite of the appearance of a chopped top, I found Tim's comparison interesting. Maybe it's not as off as it appears. It can still be built as a gasser, but not SEG standards. I may get one, but it's not high on the priority list, the stock version will be of far more interest, overall the kit is nice.
  12. One moment forums are for discussing kits that have accuracy problems, the next minute there's no room for discussing kit problems.
  13. They did. Very early on and there was MUCH discussion on the errors then.
  14. Lame year for me. Only thing I see is the Garbage truck.
  15. It's a fact our phones listen to us, even in the so called airplane mode, and while turned off. There is no privacy anymore.
  16. I agree. You'll have to add length to the window frames and vent window frames. As a gasser or a street machine you can have that chopped look, but as I said I was hoping to kitbash and do a stock sedan. Not going to happen. I may pick one up to do as a gasser, but it's not a priority.
  17. Momma, the tortie, and son.
  18. If I didn't already have a 37 chevy that would be on my list, but count me in eventually for 4 of the Model A's, and the Nova wagon.
  19. I for one never attacked Tim. I even stated in my first response, "with all due respect to Tim and Dave Metzner". The faults with the kit are not Tim's doing, and I appreciate his build up, and hope he does more. I still stand by it looks chopped to me, and I don't see removing plastic fixing that. It will be interesting to see Tim do that fix, and if it does improve it, cool. At that point I may consider buying it. I don't have a bottomless wallet for hobby stuff, actually pretty rarely I get a new kit, so I spend what I get judiciously, and this kit as it stands will not get my money. I'm hoping the stock one is a improvement. I'm not and never have been a rivet counter, but there are occasions where something just doesn't look right to my eye and this is one.
  20. Hmm, that may actually be easier. Good idea.
