  1. Work on the Total Control strut tower bracing with steel tubing, rod ends and bolts from RB Motion. Top photo is the “Hero Car” Eleanor that sold at Meccum Auction.
  2. Added a bottom plate to the air cleaner. Ever notice how many kits don’t have one on the parts tree, or molded into it? lol.
  3. I had a Optima battery from VCG Resin, but it seems the scale is too big for this engine bay. It was simple enough to make my own from styrene tube & sheet. However, I’m now debating if this battery will go under the hood, or placed in the back trunk. Opening up the trunk will give me the opportunity to also add a fuel cell and NOS bottle. Go Baby Go !!
  4. Not sure if I created this low spot in the front window trim, but I know it would definitely be noticed as it is dead smack in the middle and with painting those black stripes on either side, it would be noticed by me ... Glued down a thin strip of styrene and now I will sand and level it out.
  5. This was my first attempt to make my own headers. Aluminum tubing and electrical solder. It was exciting and the drivers side took about 45 min. However, the passenger side took 2 days. I had to keep bending the solder to fit over the starter. Eventually, I broke one tube off !! That’s why it took 2 days. Would I make them again...... depends on the next project. LOL.
  6. Scratch building the Total Control Products front rack & pinion steering
  7. Styrene fabrication work all done.
  8. Good Work.! I have a Eleanor project that I am currently working on as well. Will be following ... Adam
  9. Nice Work. Great color choice !
  10. Hello Fellow Modelers ! Hope you all are healthy & safe. It's been a while since I have done any work or posted anything. Crazy to think of what this COVID-19 pandemic has done to the world. I have spent the last 6 months still working, as my job was classified as "essential services". Wife & kids were home for this whole period. I finished the renovations on our home and spent some wonderful quality time with family. Now it's time to get back to my favorite hobby........ !! Will be continuing the work on the Eleanor Project and be posting progress soon ! TCB, Adam
  11. Great work so far ! TCB, Adam
  12. Nice Job ! I have Brian’s Eclipse, Supra & Skyline in my stash ready for a F&F build off. RIP Paul.
  13. So I was able to scratch build the entire Subframe Connector System for the undercarriage. I was concerned about ground clearance and it being too low once installed. But from this angle, it seems there will be plenty of room. Underside is almost ready for paint. Just need to build the Watts Link System and test fit. TCB, Adam
  14. Amazing how you made those Bull Horns !! TCB, Adam
  15. That "step chop" method works great !! TCB, Adam
  16. Brilliant Job on the Windsheild Dann ! TCB, Adam
  17. Hi Anton, This is being built like the "hero car" in the movie. The side exhausts were not functional on this particular car. However, there were more than just one "Eleanor" car used in the movie and some of them did have functional side exhausts. Adam
  18. Brad, it’s in the photo etched detail set from Model Car Garage (part MCG-2213) TCB, Adam
