  7. Always like the look of the Aero coupe.
  8. After the program was cancelled by Chrysler Engineering the left over pieces made into the real world after being disposed by Chrysler. One engine I know of for sure was built up from various pieces and has been shown around in various magazines. I did some of the valve train development on the engine dyno for awhile and the program was cancelled when NASCAR heard about it and said absolutely not. The black and white picture in the article shows the engine on the dyno at Chrysler where I worked on it for awhile.https://www.hotrod.com/articles/return-dohc-426-hemi/
  9. Chrysler never built a running version of the A925 DOHC Hemi. DOHC V8, 426 cu.in.. Couldn't find a horsepower rating. Experimental engine. We had a block with heads to do valve train development only. GREAT set of engine builds..............awesome!
  10. Saw the "Sucker" car race back in the day. Awesome stuff!!
  11. I paid $10 for the whole set in a nice binder.
  12. Here is a picture of the actual plane and a story of the unit it flew for. Great Build!!!!
  13. Yep, the Walsh'd are still at it as of a couple of years ago when we emailed each other. Here is the info for the airshow at Willow Run................http://yankeeairmuseum.org/airshow/
  14. The Fury was the Navy/Marine version of the North American F-86 Sabre Jet. Came in 4 models FJ-1 through FJ-4.
  15. 1988 was the "ultimate show" ever. 30th Anniversary of the F-4 Phantom. I think they had over 40 Phantoms on the flight line from all over the world. Just awesome. The guys who used to put on the London show now do the show at Willow Run Airport in Detroit every year. Cheers!
  16. Growing up in Detroit I went to the London Air Show for many years and remember seeing the "101 Wonder" there. One of my favorite aircraft of all time. Check out 2 of the Voodoo patches below. Plus my favorite Canadian Voodoo paint scheme . When I was in Vietnam saw the Rf-101 version in the skies every once in awhile.
  17. Went to a gigantic toy show here in Michigan on Sunday and picked up this set of cards dealing with NASCAR models. 90 cards in a set and the set came out in 1991 so it is pretty old stuff. What is neat about the cards is that it gives you some basic info about the kit, what brand and color of paint to use for the model, and some other info to help you build the kit and what is in the kit.
  18. Video on the restoration of the real car:
  19. Drive down to Warren Michigan this Sunday to see one of the biggest shows in the country.
  20. I recently bought both the Harvick and Patrick Revell kits at the local hobby shop ..............they had quite a few in stock.
  21. BEAUTIFUL !!!!!!!
