  1. Hey guys, here are a few progress shots from my current build. It's a 29 Ford roadster pickup "Gow Job". A stripped down, hopped up, pre war hot rod before they were called hot rods. Something a kid in the mid thirties would take to the dry lakes. This is a quick little build I am doing for a YouTube community build project for Ford Truck Month. The body and bed are AMT. The rest is from the Revell 31 Woody. I scratch built the firewall, inner doors and a few engine details. Trying to keep this one simple and fun. I'll post more pics as I move along. You can also follow the progress on my YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVoU7nzEBSxvHvXYIjRgp8g
  2. Love this. The rust is superb. I would agree with others about the beehive. It's more fitting with a flathead V8 and I've never seen it mounted outside of the firewall. Otherwise, it's a killer jalopy!!
  3. Love this! I will check out that show!
  4. Love This! I'm working on something similar.
  5. GASSER WARS!!!!! but seriously, cool looking build. Can't wait to see it progress
  6. Very inspiring!! love the plexi grill shell. Is the radiator in the trunk? or water ports blocked off? just curious.
  7. Nice!! I'm working on a similar project
  8. Your work on this build is very inspiring. I'm currently working on a similar project, a 32 5 window gasser. It's cool to see your progress. love it!
  9. Could the rear cross bar be moved up and the headrest be mounted to it?
  10. Next up is a 32 Ford 5 window gasser. My first attempt at a polished paint job. Wish me luck! lol You can see the build process so far here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVoU7nzEBSxvHvXYIjRgp8g
  11. I would consider removing the inner fenders. One of the coolest things about old gassers are the fenderwell headers that fill up the space where those inner fenders were.
  12. This is looking very nice, period correct and well crafted. I really like your suspension pieces, ladder bars, front axle, etc.
  13. Thanks. The rear slicks are Good Year Blue Streaks that came out of the AMT 51 Chevy kit. The bumpers were threaded so they could add and remove weight to run in more than one class as well.
  14. Thanks! The Engine is a 392 Hemi from the MPC Wild Willie Borsch Winged Express kit
  15. Wish I saw this before building mine. Those fender welts are looking great!
