  1. Thank you gentlemen
  2. Very nice & clean build!
  3. The interior does look very nice and has excellent detailed parts.
  4. Thanks JC, i picked up a set of these from Harold and was originally going to use them on this build but unfortunately they are too small for this car’s wheel wells. Saving em for a future Tamiya Gullwing build!
  5. Same here. This and Tamiya’s Porsche GT1 look so good right out of the box. Great job on the build
  6. Nice clean build! Love those wheels
  7. Good thing I’ve got the soft top version!
  8. I'd like to share my next build - a Revell's BMW 507. Looks like a solid kit with great details and a faithfully reproduced body. The only downside imo is the kit supplied wheels. I personally like the rudge wheels a lot more than the dog dish hub cabs supplied in the kit. Since there are no aftermarket wheels I could find, I decided to use rudge wheels from a Mercedes 300SL Gullwing. I got a good deal on an old partially started AMT Mercedes Gullwing kit and took the rudge wheels from this kit. Apart from the wheels, I'm planning on building this mostly OOB, but who knows.. Color will be Tamiya TS-38 Gun Metal with a tan interior. Thanks for looking in! Body looks really nice. Started with cleaning the body and attaching the separately molded lower front fascia. On the left is the kit supplied wheel and dog dish. On the right is the wheel from the AMT Gullwing kit and the 507 wheel with the center cut out. I fit the Gullwing wheel inside the 507 wheel. Although this creates an extra lip, it looks decent enough to pass. The kit wheel actually looks really nice with the dog dish so the first cut was a little painful. And a little fun... I think the Mercedes hubcab on the 507 wheel is actually a nice look.
  9. Looks really nice, the simple white and black was a good choice!
  10. Thanks Dave, that era sure did have a lot of beautiful cars
  11. Great seeing this one back on the bench JC. Mock up engine bay looks goood
  12. Should be a fun build! I built one of these a couple years ago, love how the stance and negative camber come straight oob w/o any adjustment
  13. Looks great, matches your 1:1 perfectly!
  14. Good looking build! Really like the body color
  15. Cant wait to see em! Please build the white Supra targa seen in Paul Walker’s send off scene! Btw, dunno if you’ve already seen this but here’s a really fun video about all the F&F movie cars narrated by the builder himself! A must watch for all F&F fans.
  16. Sweet build! Really like the orange and black hood choice!
  17. Looking good Dann. That single eyelash headliight backing PE part is really odd. Guess somebody at Studio27 messed up.The PE set looks excellent otherwise. If those little PE parts above the badges are louver vents the Miura is shooting up a couple places on my build list lol!
  18. Sweet build! This Evo was always one of my favorite Brian O’Connor cars from the series.
  19. They turned out beautifully! Great restorations!
  20. Eager to see more builds. Its been a long wait lol
  21. I agree David, price is reasonable and I found it doesn’t take much of the stuff to cover a decent size area. Thank you all for the kind words !
  22. Great builds ! The orange paint looks awesome in the sun
  23. Much appreciated Alex. I really got back into the hobby just as you took a break so I was always wondering if the master behind Italianhorses.net would come back lol. As a big fan of the Scuderia, the website has been a great resource and inspiration!
  24. Thanks John. My tablet came in handy to make that mirror effect haha Much thanks! Must have been quite the sight Guy. A rare cat to see in the wild for sure
  25. Thank you David! I messed up the hood and right body fit but much knowleged gained about working with resin for sure. This is what I used to make the asphalt and mud/dirt base. It’s a paste-like consistency and works perfectly! I gorilla-glued a couple of thin cork sheets together and cut them to fit inside a cheap wood photo frame I found at the stationary store. Simple masking and flat white spray job for the parking? lines. Maybe I’ll go back and add some more detail like water run marks and dust/dirt but need to do some more Youtube research before that :). Also some tried to simulate cracks in the asphalt by ripping the top sheet of cork a bit.
