  1. Exquisite craftsmanship! Superb results! I can hardly tell the difference between your Pontiac and the 1:1 in the other pic. You deserve a breather after this one! Have a fudge sickle and start another build! LoL ?
  2. That's what I was thinking, but wanted to make sure! ?
  3. Lately I've been using Loctite brand CA glue. It has been working very well on my projects. I sometimes use white glue for mock-up work and temporary parts joining, but use CA for final assembly.
  4. I'm a little confused. Is the OP talking about "bleed through", or "edge creep"? I've used blue painter tape for years, and never had any "bleed through". I have, however, had "edge creep", where paint seeps under the edge. Very pesky, especially when trying to do a two-tone paint job. Nowadays, I lay down the blue tape close to the edge of where I want the color to end up, and then add Tamiya, or a similar type to finish the edge. I try to burnish that tape down fairly well before spraying.
  5. Remarkable build! Loads of detail. Absolutely perfect execution. Great choice of colors. I'm a Mopar guy, but this is making me want a Pontiac! LoL
  6. Very cool antenna. I always liked those slanted antennae. I like them enough that I actually put a pair on the back of a 1976 Malibu Classic I owned in the mid 80's!
  7. As far as I know, the Admin of any forum has the right to delete any content, and/or membership at their own discretion, and it's pretty much final.
  8. Very welcome news! Looking forward to the 63 F-100, and the Demon. The F-100 is one of my favorite kits from my youth, and the Demon will be a replica of the real one I owned in '77!
  9. I sent you the link, Lee. Thanks for your interest.
  10. I created a Proboards forum more than ten years ago. It was mainly for scale automotive builders. Participation ebbed and flowed, about like the Gulf of Mexico. It went down to just about nothing at one point, but there were still some hardcore forum members that kept it running. Another Proboards forum I was a member of folded, and I invited the members to check out my forum. Myself and another admin revamped the forum, and things got better. Several of the members don't use anything but forums, so they are logged in most of the time. We do have a good number of members that just check in to see what is going on, never saying anything. Hopefully, they are building in the background. I check out Facebook and post comments, but I don't post any of my builds there. I don't see anything wrong with participating on multiple sites, either. You might just see and learn something that hasn't been seen anywhere else.
  11. My worst car ever was a '79 Pontiac Trans Am. It had a 403 engine and ran like a wild animal, but I couldn't keep everything else from falling apart on the car. I kept it for six months, traded it for a Chevette, and the dealer sold the T/A the next day. Two days later, the new owner of the Pontiac threw a rod through the block! Glad I traded for that Chevette! It turned out to be a decent car.
  12. I drive a 2017 Chrysler 300s, a 2008 Dodge Ram 1500, a 1968 Imperial Crown convertible, a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500, a 1989 Chrysler TC by Maserati, and a 1990 Jaguar XJS V-12 convertible. Not all at the same time, though!! LoL
  13. I started an AMT '58 Impala custom project in August of 2011. So, nearly twelve years for that one. I have some others that have probably been lingering more than five years! It's been around three years since I've finished a build, due to selling the house and moving.
  14. I thought so, too, but I just researched it and found out it was indeed a 4 door sedan.
  15. I don't think it would ever stop, unless it rolled up against something! LoL
  16. A real beauty, there. Looks like you overcame the fit issues fairly well. A 240Z was my dream car when I was in high school. I never got one, due to the fact that I discovered MOPARS.
  17. I do have a '67 Coronet kit. Parts are sealed in the bags.
  18. I believe I have a kit of the '67 Coronet in the stash. I'll check Tuesday and let you know.
  19. Stunning!! Both are beauties! I almost bought a new 1:1 convertible back in '75, but talked myself out of it. Sometimes, I listen to myself too much!
  20. Very well done on the weathering. Cool Jeep! It may not be military -accurate, but I've seen a number of late model Jeeps with military markings running around that end up muddy like yours. Keep up the good work!
  21. I am wondering if it would be possible for you to produce a 1966 DODGE Coronet 500 front grille, and rear taillight panel that would fit the Revell 1967 DODGE Coronet R/T kit? Also needed would be the four trim bars located just behind the door on each side of the car:
  22. Just found out last week that I have cataracts. Both eyes. Getting them fixed, soon. Maybe that will help me build better models! LoL I do have arthritis, and moderate hearing loss (due to 48 years in the construction industry). No dementia yet....that I'm aware of.
