  1. Found this gem https://www.ebay.com/itm/1976-MPC-The-Fonz-Dream-Car-Pontiac-GTO-Model-Kit-Happy-Days-TV-Show-1-25-/234419538847
  2. Thanks for dropping by, Tom. Hope things are going good.
  3. You are welcome. I will keep that in mind. I have a stalled 935/78 build right now. The Hiro large scale kit seems great. I’ll be watching your thread for sure.
  4. Looking really great so far. I might have to depart with some of my savings so I can purchase a printer. Work like this makes me want my own so bad. Everything looks killer on this build.
  5. Great work so far. Do you like the scale lab detail set? I want to really detail my kit as well. I didn’t know there were alternatives to the scale motor sports set.
  6. You can use google translate. here is a link for you: https://translate.google.com/
  7. Funny you mention an MX5. I’m looking at buying one next year. I’d like to get an NC hardtop.
  8. @Casey, this was a fun and interesting thread to read through. Thanks for sharing those great photos and information. I enjoy learning about the history related to our hobby.
  9. I found another 1/16 Chevy K10 on eBay. Here is the link: Revell 1/16 Chevrolet Pickup I’ll also attach some photos. The grille is interesting.
  10. Very clean build. You nailed the look of many of the vans I grew up seeing.
  11. Little mock up for the D-50.
  12. First real mock-up tonight. I like it. Sits higher than I wanted but really didn’t want to modify the suspension. Cab sits kind of funny on the interior tub. I’ll have to make something for it to ‘snap’ on to so it’s in one set place before finally assembly
  13. I think the root beer and bronze would be a great color combination. I say go for it.
  14. More progress today. More body work on the cab, front clip, and bed. Getting close. I think I will only need to work it a little bit more and I’ll be set. The interior will be two tone brown and light brown. The engine will be painted body color; same for the engine bay.
  15. I’m looking forward to these. These Atlantis re-issues have got me excited. I finally get to enjoy some of the models that I’ve heard or read about but was never able to own. Keep the reissues coming, I say!
  16. Awesome build and I love the way you lay out those parts in the WIP shots.
  17. Heard that as well. So far no additional updates on the channel or their social media pages.
  18. Nicely done! Two very good looking models.
  19. Looking at this old thread. I’d like to finish this one up. It’s such an iconic car and deserves to look great when finished. My skills have came a long way since this was started. Might have to come off the shelf of stalled projects.
  20. Thanks guys! I need to get back at this one. I want the cab to look great and filling in the seams is a little daunting. I don’t want to lose detail on the rivets, but sanding them off at the seam might be the easiest. I can add them back later with some small styrene round stock.
  21. Thanks! Yes, you are correct. It is a combo of both.
  22. Nailed the look of the box art!
