  4. Hi if you go to brochures or old car manual project you will find all the car brochures from the dealers the 70 T-Bird had the pan painted and in 71 the only big change Ford did to the car was the pan now was chrome and part of the bumper I am 68 I had an uncle that was a T-bird guy that's all he drove every 3 years he got a new one and I remember he got the 70 and when the 71's came out he was glad he got the 70 at the time the thin looking bumper was better looking to people because all the car companys were had gone to the big bumpers starting in 70 well most of them did in 73 when the gas crunch hit I get ride of my 69 Buick Wildcat for a 73 Pinto and that was the last year the pinto had the thin bumper in 74 the bumper was bigger then the car.!!!
  5. Hi yes it does you do have to do a little sanding on the firewall ends and the very back of the frame sides but it works very well I have used that frame on the Johan 69 roadrunner and GTX.
  6. Nice that looks like it will be easy to restore. look at the online model stores and get a AMT 69 GTX converitable kit for the windshield frame and glass it's the same.! I see those kits all the time.
  7. WOW !! what a awesome awesome build the level of detail is great nice build love the hole thing from front to back.!!!
  8. WoW does that set up bring back some great memory's I'm 67 and I remember building that at the time I had two of them I had the 62 Ford on one and the 62 Chevy on the other nice job the hole set up looks awesome.
  9. This add BS is out of control this is one of my go to every day sites and I have been getting the magazine for years but it's getting to the point I will be dropping the site we have no idea were these adds are coming from and my be letting unwanted BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH in to our computers I do to much on my computer now from home to take that chance it has got to stop.!!!
  10. All the times I have seen someone build one of these kits this one is really a awesome build very nice I have a couple of these kits I should really start one now we have the time right.!!!
  11. Nice now that's the way Dodge should have made that car it never should have been a four door .!!!! can't wait to see it done.!
  12. Hi I have 8 or 9 of these kits I use the guts for some resin projects and also built a few the ones with this box and the dog dish caps everything fits great it's the ones made only with the Drag build there is a problem with the roof in the front and the front glass does not fit right but this one your good I have 6 like this one and no fit problems.!
  13. Awesome job the 68 was the best looking in the 442 line up to me. boy I had two of them from Johan when I was a kid I wish I would have kept them I remember I payed $1.50 each at a local hobby shop.!!
  14. As far as I know no one has ever made this car in a model plastic or resin and it's the one car that I would have loved to see in kit from it would be nice to see it done but I don't think there is enough people around that like the car or even remember it to off set the coast of doing one.!! it's to bad i'm 68 I had a friend that bought one used in 70 it was the top of the line model in gold and black it was a great car he has pass away now I would have loved to build one for him.!! I still would like to build one.
  15. LOL now that someone brought it up I think your right I think I will finely get to a hole lot of projects that have been sitting on the bench for over two years .!!!
  16. Nice that really does look good that would have made a nice option for that year .!!
  17. Awesome job I love how it looks in the dark gray nice. !!
  18. Awesome build the color is right on the money GM should have done this with the 2 door models back in the day to tell the truth I hate 4 door cars up to 2005 I never owned one they were called grandpa cars when I was growing up.!!! growing up I had a 68 Cad 2 door for two years I got used it was 5 years old at the time I loved it it was all black one Chicago winter it was parked out in front of a bar I use to go to and it was hit by a Chicago snow plow totaled it it took almost a year to settle it.!
  19. What a awesome build I can't wait to see this one done that color looks great on that car the 68 442 was one of the ones on my top 10 list there was something about it that just always looked great back in 68 when JoHan came out with the kit I had two of them one I did stock the other was set up for the drag strip God I wish I would have kept them I started to build model car in 1962 when I was 10 and built them till the mid 70's then got ride of every thing and got back into it in the late 90's and had to start all over again finding a lot of the early 60's and 70's kits they sure not $2.00 any more.! I have payed up to $175.00 for some. in 62 my first kit was the AMT 62 Ford it was $1.50 the can of spray paint was 49c the 4 little bottles of paint for the detail were 10c each and the tube of glue was 10c the hole thing coast me $2.50.
  20. WoW.!! that is awesome very nice I love the color and the wire wheel covers. I have that resin kit I got it from Ed Flock Jr about 12 years ago it's been in the to do pile I guess I will have to get it out your build has giving me new hope for the kit.!!! again you did an awesome job on it.!!
  21. Your right on the trim that bottom trim was on the sport and deluxe models and all the SS models did not have that trim they did have the wheel lip trim but that was it on the model that is left over from the 68 mold AMT never took it out when they changed it over for the 69.
  22. Send him an email I have ordered many many kits over the last 15 years from him and I have never had them take more than 4 weeks most times I had it with 2 weeks it may have been lost.
  23. I love the idea that they are coming out with the 69 it will have the detail that the AMT did not have and it was in the cards when they did the very long awaited 68 they made the removeable rear end caps I knew the 69 was not to far behind and I will get a couple of theses kits but I hope they do not stop making the 68 we in the model building world waited way to long for that to come back to the bench I got 4 of these kits looks like I will have to pick up a couple more just incase.!!! and as for the 68 I am hopping so good resin guy will come up with a 68 300 hard top trans body with a bench seat for that kit hint hint.!!!!
  24. Ho yes Wendell I know of him very well I was one that ripped off for over $150.00 bucks I was buying a lot of thing from them ok thanks.!!!
