  9. Thanks, This one was painted by airbrush master, the late Doug Shey, a dear friend who took his life in 2008. He had severe back pain and I believe that the opioids he took for the pain caused depression that he couldn't overcome. He hanged himself from a ceiling fan, his daughter found him. He just had a way with an airbrush. He always marveled at the body mods I would do....-RRR
  10. The raw metal finish was accomplished by spraying Testors Metalizer Titanium (or was it Magnesium?) and then rubbing with a soft cloth to bring out a bit of sheen... -RRR

  13. That looks RIGHT!! Did you bend up your own headers? I have a couple of Long John kits (bodies used to make a belly tanker), I will have take a peek in the boxes to see what the tires look like...hmmm...-RRR

  16. UPDATE 10/25 YARD SALE!!!!! Ready to paint! I did manage to throw on a quick coat of primer and couldn't resist a quick mockup... The rag top is a bit crooked on the drivers side in the back...so that will need to be addressed...perhaps a quick slice and a tuck???? -RRR

  19. TIM- The front suspension is from the Revell Model A series. I cut the spring off of the axle and then shortened it to fit between the split bones. You can see the suspension system in progress in this pic... -RRR
