  1. How to ruin two perfectly good Willys bodies? By cutting them up and making one!! Just something to do on a rainy long weekend.... well,I had more pix but for some reason pix from icloud won't load here...-RRR
  2. One of my customers shares office and warehouse space with the local Ferrari dealership. They work on their race cars there. I'm not into Italian exotics but I know many of you are, so here you go... -RRR
  3. I lived in New Zealand in the mid 70's. These cars were all over the place. Dreadful machines... -RRR

The T.R.O.G roadster was awarded the National Street Rodder Association coveted 'NSRA Pick' as part of the final model car show put on by our friends of the Model Associates of the Gulf State (M.A.G.S.) at the Southeast Nationals held this past weekend at the Tampa fairgrounds. A fine time was had by all....Thanks!!! -RRR

  11. KK and I are getting together next weekend at the NSRA SE Nats in Tampa and will begin work on the Jesse Lopez coupe. The M.A.G.S. model car club has announced that this is their final model car show they will host. Here's a pic of a clone of the Jesse Lopez coupe built in Texas. Interestingly enough, no color pictures exist of the original (now long gone) car. We plan on using a '48 Ford body (Revell or Testors, or some of both) with the nose from the AMT '41 woody grafted on....say tuned... -RRR
  12. Rear tires from this kit, originally by MPC, reissued by AMT, out of production, available on line at your favorite auction site. There are six tires in the kit. The wheels are from the old Monogram (not Revell) '30 Model A coupe kit. -RRR
  13. Threw this together over the last few weeks. Body is a resin piece from Altered States(?). Other bits from here and there... -RRR
  14. It's not the center hub, the whole wheel is just too oversized (especially the windows) and too deep for the skinny tires. Maybe with a few more beers I'll start to come around....-RRR
  15. This is coming along nicely. Those rear wheels, tho.... -RRR
  16. Gotta have a flathead.... -RRR
  17. Nice slicing and dicing!!! -RRR
  18. Since you asked, I'm not feeling those rear wheels, they're too deep for the tires. Everything else I dig. My $.02 and worth both pennies... -RRR
  19. I like it! Keep working it!!! -RRR
  20. Nice save of an iconic old AMT AWB car. I love those kits! -RRR
