  10. Hood sides, shot with a guide coat of primer....looking pretty good, a few flaws to fix up... -RRR

  12. Attention turns to the front suspension today. Crossmember fabbed up....suspension is the I-beam axle from the Revell Model A series. The spring was cut off of the top of the axle, narrowed a tad and attached to the split bones, suicide style...friction shocks will be used...thanks for looking... -RRR

  17. Yeah, I get it to some extent. As I always say about building in scale: "It doesn't have to work, it just has to LOOK like it does." But a rubbery rear axle is taking it to the extreme!!! -RRR

  19. Perfect. As we talked about, you do need to re-arch those rear wheel wells. Keep on plugging away at it. You might get this done by the end of the century at this rate!!! -RRR
  20. Slow going down here as well... Attention turns to the front end now. I have been massaging the front rails (fortunately this grey plastic AMT uses is pretty pliable) to get them unkinked in order to figure where to put the front xmember.... a skim coat of squadron green to smooth out the inside of the rails...I cut out a paper pattern for the hood sides...quick mockup... -RRR
  21. Hopefully Ed Sexton with Revell will be at the Atlanta NNL on November 4th and we can ask him then (and get an answer?). -RRR
  22. Notice that the original Parts Pack has the block hugger headers while the later versions have the zoomie style headers to accommodate the use of this mill with the Mooneyes dragster parts pack....
