  1. Good to see another S Floridian posting here. Interesting subject. What scale is it? -RRR
  2. I have a complete collection of the original issue Revell Parts Packs that I collected over several years. Not sure what it's worth, but as a set, worth some dough (to the right person). http://public.fotki.com/jferren/revell-parts-packs/ -RRR
  3. The venerable AMT 1950 Ford convertible with the roof from the Chezoom (if memory serves) grafted on...done slammer style.... -RRR
  4. For me (being a hot rod fan) it would be the Revell 1932 Ford series of kits they came out with in 1996 (3 window) and continued to evolve over the last 20+ years with the roadster, sedan, Speedwagon, 5 window, the 'Rat Roaster' and so on... lots of variations offering many parts and a great starting point for many a hot rod build. Now, the Vicky, please? -RRR
  5. Don't forget the Sand Dragon available from Auto World! http://www.autoworldstore.com/product_p/scm026.htm It's the same chassis as the Flying Wedg(i)e http://www.autoworldstore.com/product_p/amt927.htm -RRR
  6. I knew someone was going to ask about the six lug wheels and I can't remember where they're from. A Revell pickup kit as far as I can recall (?)... -RRR
  7. Way to go... looking forward to seeing what you do with those splash aprons.... -RRR
  8. Thanks for jogging the cranium, yes the D-50. As I recall, the bed tonneau cover had four subwoofer speakers molded into it.... -RRR
  9. Wow, at this rate you'll have this Under Glass by Sunday evening. What's next??? -RRR
  10. HA! Good one ADL...now this thing will never get finished!!!! -RRR
  11. Here's another one from several years ago when I was a lot more prolific (built more models, too) than I am now. The body is from the Beverly Hillbillies kit and is an early Olds, so I'm told. The four-banger turbo engine is from an AMT mini Dodge pickup (forget which one now, but I recall it being molded in pink(?))... -RRR
  12. Ride height is looking better! Go man go!!! Gettin' me itching to get back to the bench. -RRR
  13. The Altered States track nose is nice. http://www.alteredstatesmodels.com/images/TrackTNose.jpg The grille insert is not plated, but could be done by ChromeTech, Little Motor Kar Co or others.
  14. KOOL BUILD!! I love this frame! Did you know that AMT issued that chassis as a sand dragster? It was called the Sand Kat. Molded in yellow with a cardboard "sand" display stand. Very rare... AMT also made a sand dragster out of the Don Garlits WynnsJammer frame, slightly modified with a rear engine set up. I have that kit, too. The parts are pretty trashed, off the trees, some gloo, but it's the box that's cool...it has the same cardboard display stand.... -RRR P.S. Why do pix NOT load in the order in which they were chosen????
  15. I think you should cut the flared intake tubes off and replace with non-flared, slightly longer tubes as in the 1:1. More of my $.02 and as usual worth both pennies.... -RRR
  16. Me in ADL's ole '27 roadster which is now living Down Under!!! -RRR
  17. ADL, you gonna replicate that tonneau cover? -RRR
  18. Here's the intake I built for my flathead rail to get you inspired. I think it has 54 pieces into it.
  19. Hold on a minute here, wait one rock picking minute. ADL, you HAVE to replicate that fuel injection setup. That's the koolest feature on the car. Stromberg, schmomberg...c'mon man!!! (you asked for comments)... -RRR
  20. I'll play!!! -RRR
  21. My bad...AOD...C4...what do I know? Hot rods should have three pedals!!! -RRR
