Any new info on the Moebius '67/'68 Chevy pickups?
89AKurt replied to Can-Con's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
I'm going to follow this topic! All I will say, they better not think re-popping the horridly inaccurate AMT kit is going to separate me from my $. It better have accurate taillights, for the best example. Separate door handles would show they care about details. There are side trim differences between trim levels specific to years. The hood changed after '68. Of course full chassis detail not a promo style kit. If they really want to make it expensive, have SB and LB versions. I built The Green Barge some time ago, takes a bunch of work to make accurate. Send me first shots to shred it for evaluation. -

Wondering if I should just start a new Topic, Prescott Rally. ? First time I have seen two of these cars, this was at the dealership who hosted the event. This is our Stage, we had started the rally here, later (delayed) we were a finish for another Stage. So I saw a homemade Jenga. ? This Ford Ranger was a crowd favorite, but some Subarus were still faster. -

I'm working the Prescott Rally today and Saturday. I will see this Ford Ranger on stage, so technically I can say "on the road". Some cars are using this light setup. The guy with the beater Honda*, I asked how much it cost, more than the car when he got it. ? Lined up for tech inspection. (*not this Honda) -

I'm working the Prescott Rally that will go this weekend. I found out that nobody was tasked with putting up the ROAD CLOSED warning signs, and since I'm into signs (when I was a kid, made signs for my Tonka trucks) and have experience littering the landscape with them, and I'm self-retired, I did it. *Had to* drive over these roads in this remote area, poor truck. ? I'm amused how they post these miles after you have driven on such a road. NO WAY! I'm the starting stage for the rally, it's called First View because when you round this corner, you see Jerome. It was a narrow gauge railroad, still no guardrails. I also kicked rocks off the groove through the most iconic curve in rally. I'm pleased my 56 year old pickup ran great. I'm also pleased to see government doing something useful, saw this grader today. It's been so dry, that the surface is like talcum powder in spots.

My family got together to memorialize my mom's passing to a much better place a year ago. She loved the El Tovar, but we hardly ate there until recent years. I had their road kill special, Elk spaghetti written in a way you thought it was all imported or something. ?
