Now I have a decision to make. Went to Michaels and bought the Revell kit breaking my oath not to buy anymore plastic to add to the stash. My plan had always been to build the Heller Cunningham XKE kit as raced at Le Mans in 1962. The good folks at the Collier/REVS collection were good enough to photograph the interior for me, green BTW. Either one would need to have the wheels changed to resin Dunlops. Suggestions?

Umm...the design is certainly unusual, but the model looks to be well done and the hood ornament is a thoughtful touch. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I have had a blast going through my display cabinet dedicated to Le Mans racers. I just saw this Dino - Ferrari V6 from 1965. The kit was a Hasegawa that I added Cox wheels and tires to it. If I am not mistaken, you could build the kit either as a spyder or a coupe. Nothing spectacular but kind of cute.

Very nice one Rich. My wife saw a Michaels ad today for the Revell kit and now yours has pushed me over the edge. Guess where I am going tomorrow morning.

Now there are two very interesting projects you have planned. Really looking forward to seeing pictures of both. P.S. I am your age.

Way cool, approaching sinister. The garage is appropriate too. -
Helmut, I am trying to remember where the wheels came from and they might have been one of the Lotus Indy car kits, AMT Lotus 29, not sure though. The tires are from the Academy/Minicraft kit. Another option might be either the BBurago or Revell 250LM diecasts which have engines and more chassis detail. This is the Revell 250LM

Interesting mix of parts there Rex. Is that a Galaxy taillight? -
Oh yes, I like it a lot! The build comments are welcome too.

Well done on the LW. I especially like the way you detailed the engine and trunk.

That is one sharp looking 956 Bruce.

The 907LH is the Heller kit and next to it is a 1967 910. The Nakamura Sangyo plastic kit 910 was imported to the USA by AHM from Japan. I always thought it looked kind of bloated but was the only 910 available at the time. Just Googled the AHM kit and came across a photo of this model I had posted here on MCM.?

Older Porsche It is said confession is good for the soul. I really debated whether to post this picture or not since some of the models are in such poor shape and one of them I can not identify what it is supposed to be. But here goes anyway since the objective so to show what could have been available in the olden days.
