  1. I feel your pain with the white decals because they do need to be doubled up if you use the originals but yours looks super.
  2. This is truly a beautiful build and photos William.
  3. On the left is a trash can which is the correct receptacle for the feminine products. Very happy and relieved to have you back with us as I am sure you are too.
  4. I have been waiting patiently to see this Alfa. It was well worth the wait William. Exceptional.
  5. I saw this one at auction and could not resist. Very well detailed by Franklin Mint. Whole family getting ready to go to the beach for the holiday.
  6. The body appears to be very accurate for the 1964 factory racers with all the vents and louvers in the right places.
  7. Very impressive indeed. Each is special including the engine but I think the gold one is my favorite.
  8. The only thing special about these 2 is they are 60 years old. I am lucky to still have them in my collection.
  9. I had been looking at this 1976 Monte Carlo Lancia Stratos HF by IXO but had held off because it is a rallye car and not Le Mans related and then Helmut went and posted his street version in civilian clothing and I could not resist any longer. The markings are simply amazing and the only thing I might change would be to add a dark wash to the wheels to give them some depth.
  10. Glad we could be helpful. One word of caution, the AMT kits do not have the front fender side vents so if you are doing a 289 version you will need to make your own vents or take an impression mold from an Academy et al kit and cast your own. Please keep us posted on your projects.
  11. Good responses guys! For comparison here are left to right the 1/25 AMT 289 narrow body, 1/24 Shelby Collectible 289 narrow body, and 1/24 Monogram/Revell 427 wide body.
  12. The Monogram-Revell 427 Cobra kit is the best kit for the 427 version in 1/24 scale and can be found in race or street versions. Fujimi also released a 427 but has not had as good reviews as the Monogram-Revell kits. The AMT Cobra kit represents the 260/289 slab side Cobra in 1/25 scale and formed the basis for follow on kits from Academy and recently Revell Germany. The only 1/24 scale slab side Cobra I have is the Shelby Collectibles diecast of CSX 2000. Let me know if you need pictures, model or 1:1. I hope this helps.
  13. Excellent comparison and appreciate that you shared it with us.
  14. Simply amazing at this scale. I've done a few wood carvings but at 1/25 scale and just can not image how you can do these so small and look so good.
  15. Had no idea you were into Corvettes! This is a real looker. Well done.
  16. X2 very well said.
  17. Amazing model and design. Thanks for sharing.
  18. Oh that is a real beauty Gene. Just look at those hood hinges. Thanks for sharing.
  19. Very well done. Thanks for sharing the pictures with us.
  20. I had to go to the big box store this morning to buy dog food and just happened ? to walk by the diecasts. To my surprise they had a short stack of Motor Max Jeep Gladiators. I got a chuckle when I saw that the box is labeled 1/24 on the top and 1/27 on the window side. Being in a good mood having found the dog food had been restocked I figured it was ok for this Jeep to follow me home. It now joins my other proper Jeeps of various sizes.
  21. A doe gave birth to a fawn outside our bathroom window last night.
  22. I am impressed with what you have done with the 911. I like the bumper sticker.
