  1. I am very impressed and like it a lot.
  2. I think Steelers43 Fotki site has captured just about all the photos that I have and have been posted here and elsewhere. The History of CSX 2001 is fascinating having been assembled in the Ed Hugus shop in Pittsburg and sold to a Dr. in Pennsylvania and then sold to Europe for racing. After many body changes it ended up with Bruce Meyers in CA and restored though not in its original shape. Wait I did find this photo in my files not in Fotki and might be useful for front end detail.
  3. Very nice no cost conversion into something quite presentable. Thank you for the link to the LeMans slot car reference photos.
  4. Oh that is sharp. Well done.
  5. Ah yes, one of my favorite designs and was influenced by the Alfa Romeo Disco Volante. Thank you very much for sharing this one.
  6. Sunstar huh?? Looks pretty decent will have watch and see what you do with it.
  7. Really a good looking 907LH. Your efforts to convert the Heller kit really paid off.
  8. I updated the number decals to be more accurate and I added the signal lights on the right side. I also added correct Ferodo decals copied from the Fujimi P4 kit.
  9. Keep em coming Terry, these are great builds.
  10. I am loving it and especially in the Belgian yellow. Thanks for sharing it and keep these beauties coming please.
  11. Very well done Terry. I have just the body but have never seen one built up. Thanks for sharing.
  12. When will I ever learn? I went looking for a 1968 Corvette in 1/24 scale and came across this one. I found this JADA 1979 ZL1 which looked pretty interesting. It arrived yesterday and it is huge, relatively speaking compared to the Otaki, Sunnyside, and Franklin Mint. Using Google Translator I Iooked up JADA and in Chinese JADA means not to scale. OBTW, the bumpers off the Sunnyside are going on the Otaki which did not come with bumpers.
  13. The wheels are resin copies of the 3 piece wheels in the Monogram Mercedes 196 F1 I believe. In the reference link above is a full side on photo which I think I can copy the number circles and print onto decal film for more accurate numbers. I also found that by slicing the vinyl headlamp comers longitudinally and put them back on they lie down a lot better. I will add the number lights and the side marker lights in the next upday.
  14. Snake, I have a blue one if you are interested.
  15. In 1967 a Ferrari entered by Scuderia Filipinetti won the GT class at Le Mans while Ford won overall. This alloy bodied 275 GTB/C 09079 Ferrari was the last competition prepared Ferrari to run on wire wheels. This is an older Italian made BBurago model which has replacement resin cast wheels and a few competition features added and decals from the parts box. Oops - I left off the colored signal lights on the right hand side. Reference: 1966 Ferrari 275 GTB Competition Coupe by Pininfarina Chassis 09079, engine 09079 (conceptcarz.com)
  16. Try Archer Decals they might have something that would work for the louvers.
  17. Beautifully build model of the Porsche.
  18. Very well done. Thanks for sharing.
  19. Amazing carvings CAAPA. Thank you for sharing and showing us what can be done if there is a will and even in this 1/75th scale.
  20. I can probably help with parts. Do you need the instructions?
  21. Well done Bruce. Thanks for sharing and keep them coming.
  22. This morning I went ahead and removed the springs holding the 911 up in the air. I also discovered the releases for the front and rear lids.
