  1. Well done! Those quick builds are great to do every once in a while!
  2. That looks awesome! Nice subtle engine weathering too.
  3. Thanks guys! I'm not sure on the Transmission, I'm not very good at distinguishing those kinds of things, lol.
  4. Thanks! I use a homebrew thinner, and the craft paint is water-based acrylic. I actually have a Youtube video I just recently posted showing the thinner recipe I use, how I thin the paint, and how I spray it. Thanks, It's a custom mix of craft paints, but I think MCW and Gravity Colors Spain have the correct factory mix although they're for an airbrush. To my knowledge nobody makes a spray can in anything close to that color. Thanks! The fuel fill tube is molded into the chassis, I just highlighted it with some paint. It is a very well done and detailed kit!
  5. Nice looking Judge, and a rare color combo indeed!
  6. It looks fantastic, you did a great job on it! Hard to beat the classic Blue with White stripes on a Cobra! Hope you find a great new hobby!
  7. Here's my version of the Revell 1969 Chevy Nova Yenko, painted with a custom mix of craft paints for the body and interior. I mixed Folkart Metallic Peridot with Decoart Shimmering Silver for the body, and cleared it with Createx UVLS 4050 Gloss. I used BMF for the window trim. The interior is done with craft paints as well, using Folkart Basil Green mixed with other greens for the different shades and I added copper wire for the door locks. The chassis was painted with Folkart Black, and I used various craft paints to give it a bit of a weathered look. I used B.F. Goodrich tires from Fireball Modelworks with parts box wheels and caps, and used copper wire for the valve stems. The engine is painted in a craft paint mix, with spark plug wires and heater hoses added for extra detail. I also added a 350 sticker on the air cleaner to go with the 350 badges on the marker lights to complete the "sleeper" look. This was a great kit, just like the Special Edition 2 'n 1 Nova kit, and went together very well and I had a great time building it. Thanks for looking!
  8. Looks good! I'm just about done with mine too.
  9. Looks great!
  10. The Camaro looks great! I actually like that body style. I'm in the same boat as you, there's always something small and stupid that I do to mess up an otherwise almost perfect build, lol.
  11. That's a sharp looking GTO!
  12. Very nice! Certain cars look really good in the Gulf Livery!
  13. Nice looking Karmann Ghia!
  14. Nice looking Audi and a cool color!
  15. Good looking Charger! Nice engine details and paint!
  16. That's a nice looking Duster and the paint looks great!
  17. Good looking Olds!
  18. Nice looking Corvair!
  19. I actually had a few bucks to spend on model kits for the first time in a long time this week, so I hit up Ollie's and Hobby Lobby. I almost skipped Ollie's because I was over 99% sure they wouldn't have anything, but the wife talked me into stopping in. Boy am I glad she did, I grabbed a couple of the Z06 Corvette's, Viper RT/10's, a '99 SVT Mustang and she wanted the Snap-Tite Jeep Rubicon, plus everything was 15% off! There was still quite a few of the Jeep's, Ford Raptor's, 2014 Corvette Stingray's, and 2018 Mustang GT's, all Snap-Tite's, still on the shelves. After her appointment she talked me into going to HL even though most of my "allowance" was now gone and I finally snagged the new Revell 1971 442 that I had wanted badly since it's release.
  20. The Charger looks awesome and the geronimoworks wheels set it off nicely!
  21. Beautiful Porsche!!
  22. Great color on the Challenger, and really nice engine detail!
