  1. Boat and trailer are almost done, Just a few more details, like tail lights for the trailer, and maybe some decals on the boat, we'll see.
  2. Got the dash done and the grille blackwashed yesterday. Making some good progress on it now, I'll try to get more pics tomorrow.
  3. Great color, and I love the engine swap!
  4. Outstanding!
  5. That is a great color, especially cleared. Black stripes would really accentuate this one, rear spoiler or not. I've used craft paints on bodies for my last nine builds, mainly metallics, and am very happy with the results. Doesn't matter what paint you use, or who thinks you should use it, if you get good results that's all that matters. By the way, here's a '67 and '69 Camaro with stripes and no rear spoiler to hopefully give you a little help.
  6. Very nice T!!
  7. Nice looking Impala!
  8. Looks great, and a great color choice!
  9. Here's a few pics of my boat and trailer I'm working on along with a Revell '66 Chevy Fleetside tow vehicle in the same color combo. The deck and trailer are a custom mix of Decoart Extreme Sheen Garnet and Delta Ceramcoat Black Pearl. The upper hull and trailer fenders are in the Black Pearl and the bottom is in Anita's Pearl White.
  10. A few progress pics of my 1966 Chevy Fleetside that I'm building as a tow vehicle for my AMT customizing boat and trailer that will have the same color scheme. The body is a custom mix of Decoart Extreme Sheen Garnet and Delta Ceramcoat Black Pearl craft paints. The cab and roof are painted in the Black Pearl. I'm really liking the look so far and hope to get the interior painted tomorrow and the clear on Friday or Saturday.
  11. It certainly does. I may do a WIP when I get to mine, although I don't expect to start it any time soon. Right on Replicas on youtube has a build-up on it using still shots. I haven't watched it in a while, but their build videos seem pretty informative.
  12. The prices over the last few years were getting pretty ridiculous. I was so happy last year when I found out about the re-release. My understanding is they are going fast too.
  13. My pre-order for the Revell Auto Transport Trailer came in yesterday from Mega Hobby. I'm pretty geeked to have finally gotten one, and for only forty bucks (I had some rewards points from their site) I'm pretty happy. I also bought some items for my garage background and speed shop diorama I'm slowly working on. I got 6 doors, 6 oil change pans, 6 workbenches, 4 engine hoists, 4 rolling tool boxes, and a drag racing Christmas Tree all for about 55 bucks. I bought them on ebay from a seller called Make it RC. Pretty cool stuff that seems to be 3D printed.
  14. That is nice! Great work, especially in such a small scale!
  15. Nice job and nice back story! I've always maintained that the 1970 Chevelle is the gold standard of Muscle Cars.
  16. Nice job! The interior looks great, and I love the red exterior/tan interior.
  17. Great job on the Impala! Nice mix of old school (wheels), and new school (LT-5 engine) gives it a perfect look.
  18. That's a beauty!! Very nice clean build!
  19. What a nice, clean, beautiful build!! I love the color choices, and a great paint job to boot!!
  20. Beautiful!! Nice job!
  21. I just got that same hood last week as part of a 5 hood order from Lex's on ebay also. I also bought the outlaw '55 Chevy hood as part of my order as I have ideas for both of my '55 Chevy kits. The one I got like yours is a bit narrow as well, but the outlaw hood seems like a better fit overall, it just needs more trimming. In all I've bought 10 hoods from him all total over 3 different orders.
  22. Grabbed these two off ebay last week. I bought the Testarossa solely for the wheels so I can build the Ferrari Daytona from Gumball Rally to add to the Yellow Camaro and Shelby Cobra I've done already. The Camaro Convertible was only $5.99 + an extra $2 shipping, so I couldn't pass that up, lol.
  23. They do howl on occasion, pretty much only when we go shopping in the morning before our son gets up. We can't really get them to howl otherwise, no matter what we try. I thought I had a video of them howling, but I can't find it right now. As far as chewing, fortunately they are not destructive chewers. Ginger, the tan and white one does love her stuffed toys though, and will go after the squeaker from time to time, but again, nothing really destructive.
