  1. My opinion exactly, great build!
  2. Great build, excellent in every department!
  3. Outstanding re-work, great result!
  4. That looks very nice, I like it!
  5. Nice finish! Which kit is this?
  6. Hi folks, this truely was a quick fun build. Small parts count in this kit, but good detailing anyways. Very good accuracy and a nice decal sheet. I used Tamiya TS-19 over white primer, followed by clearcoat from the can. The interior is painted with Tamiya Rubber Black except for the seats which are made from black vinyl (yes, they were on the tyres' sprue!) and remained unpainted. Built all OOB except for adding the interior mirror and aluminium ferrules for the exhausts. And a family shot:
  7. Well done, Ludwig! This is the strongest and more rare 69 Camaro outfit. The 427 ci aluminum engine from the Chaparral 2F race cae really makes it stand out, and you really did this special car justice.
  8. Thanks again guys! Thanks Rusty. And I couldn‘t agree more with you on this kit and it‘s rich and useful contents as far as extra wheels, custom parts etc. are concerned. If you live in Europe and came to building vintage US cars a little late - like me - then you really appreciate the extra stuff that comes with kits like this. Separate parts on sale are pretty hard to come by and expensive over here!
  9. Many thanks again, I appreciate it!
  10. Very nice Chevelle! Great paint job and trim. And I like the street machine look too!
  11. Thanks guys! I love to hear how this brings back memories to some of you. Unfortunately, in Germany cars like this can only be seen on special US car events.
  12. Thanks a lot, guys! Thanks! I painted the badges using Molotow Liquid Chrome (from the refill bottle) and an fine 10/0 brush. I made sure that there would be just the tiniest amount of MLC on the brush, so maybe it's kind of a dry-painting method...
  13. Hi folks, this was long overdue... my first Impala build. I chose the last Impala vintage that I would call "classic". First I intended to do it in a more custom kind of style but then again I thought this kit containing the custom roof will look better in a more "serious" style. So I used the custom wheels and lowered the body, but changed nothing else. The body has been painted with Tamiya Light Gun Metal and the roof with semi-gloss black from a no-name spray can.
  14. Beautiful Chevy! ?
  15. Beautiful build and a lovely paint job!
  16. Nice result. Good paint job on the "Morocco Red" and I especially like the work on the V12. As you said, it takes quite some effort to replicate that "chaos" in the engine bay. What is the reason why you didn't do the orange/ red lights in front/ rear bumpers?
  17. Many thanks again, guys, I appreciate it!
  18. Great build and paint job in accordance with your own high standards.
  19. Many thanks, Geoff, David and Joe!
  20. Many thanks guys!
  21. Great color choice, paint job and building quality. Very nice Mopar!
  22. Hi there, another restoration done. Not much to say about this kit, except that it is stone-old and not very well-engineered on the front end. The paint I used is contemporary Ford Lime Gold by Gravity Colors, sealed with 1k clear from the can.
  23. Hi Ludwig! Great classic color combination, paint job and detailing work! You really know how to do these 60‘s Fords, which is probably because you have one in your garage! ?
