  1. Thanks all! I appreciate all your replies!
  2. Finished at last! Started with this ebay find..... .......and ended up here I couldn't resist a few shots shots with the '60 Ford I built a while back As always comment and questions welcome. Thanks for looking.
  3. Agreed. Great job R2! I think they have the market figured out. I've purchased a "few" of them and will continue to do so.
  4. I'm thinking a lot of that 150k went into the engine and mechanicals. The car was built for the 2010 Power Tour. "Starting with a GM Performance Parts block bored and stroked to 485 cubic inches, the gang ordered up special heads, exhaust and cams, topped with a Bell supercharger that makes the unit good for at least 1,000 hp. " (from Jalopnik). The distressed "look" is just paint work... nothing a good respray can't fix.
  5. Got some BMF done today Almost done.
  6. Fantastic job on this Ford. Perfect colors and the wheels are brilliant! Please show us how you built them.
  7. To echo some of the above, I'd really like an accurate bone stock kit, the go from there.
  8. Only two for '15. I spent way too much time rebuilding the '65 Impala for a CBP on another forum. Guess i got a little carried away, Started with this old build up After some cutting, glue, putty, sanding and paint I ended up with this custom NY Worlds Fair inspired Impala. I was there. After that work I finished up the year with this old Ford That's been on and off the bench for many years. As always thanks for checking this out. Comments welcome.
  9. Very sharp build. i like seeing these legacy builds resurface. Well done.
  10. Thanks. I got way lucky on this one. Not too bad.
  11. Over the years I've managed to reclaim most of them but these two still escape me because of $$$$
  12. I've been working on this old Edsel ebay find. I started with this relatively clean example. After some disassembly, clean up and body work I got 'er into primer rollin' on Pegasus wheels. I scratched up some disc brakes with scrap plastic and washers. \ I picked up some new tail light bezels from the 'Haus but I didn't have any lenses so I experimented with red dye tinted slow set epoxy. I like the way they came out. I just got it all painted and cleared with my old favorite Testor's decanted and airbrushed. The finish line is in sight! Thanks for checking out my project, I hope to finish it soon. As always questions and comments are welcome.
  13. Love it. Not going to get into NASCAR politics but I'll get a few. I guessing aftermarket decals are in the pipe. Hats of to Revell for having the brass to present these for us!
  14. Great idea Phil, I'd buy one or four. I'd also like the see Revell back engineer the venerable Monogram Deuce into the "Little Deuce" with all original parts.
  15. Back at you!
  16. Agreed Tom. Which sniper program do you recommend? Are the free ones any good? TIA.
  17. Makes sense. I'll no doubt do the same. I have a few in the stash.
  18. It's a good kit. So is the convertible. Get several.
  19. Again, my favorite aspect of this hobby... Very rewarding.
  20. Nice conversion. I still have one of those in the box somewhere in the stash. IIRC it has a fairly good inline 6 in it?
  21. Nonsense. No one here traded anybody anything for their abilities, least of all the devil.
  22. Thanks Louie. Addiction indeed Steve. I have it bad. That '58 Ford is absolutely stunning! Here's my attempt at a '58 rescue.
  23. Looks like there would be a "market" for such a site, forum or FB page.
