  1. You got that right! There's more where that came from.
  2. I converted this GT kit to a 390 GTA replica of a friends 1:1. His widow was kind enough to give it back to me upon his passing.
  3. I built this Shelby some years ago.
  4. Glad to see some still enjoy a good old "cup of Joe", as I do too every morning. Seems these days a lot of folks are doing those other "energy" drinks.
  5. Currently reading No Easy Day. Just finished Jessie James - American Outlaw. I found that one on the discount table for $3. I'm not very deep.
  6. Thanks, that makes sense then because the Interceptor has the somewhat flat LTD hard top roof (no post) which is not correct for a factory 4 door post sedan.
  7. Was this kit modified to produce the Interceptor or were they different tools altogether?
  8. I was looking forward to that one too. Wonder what happened?
  9. I've been watching since episode #1 so I'll tune in. At this point it's kind of like passing a wreck on the road, you don't want to look but you do.
  10. Hope it's less drama and and more building, and please, less of Chris Jacobs. Looking forward to seeing what direction they go with it. http://www.thefutonc...0802velocity01/
  11. Use it as a learning experience. If you don't want to fix it use it as a reminder of what not to do on the next one. Then move on.
  12. ........ simply a pleasure. The vintage styrene just seems to be of much better quality. The parts are "crisp" and well molded, compared to some modern kits that look to be made from recycled milk jug material. Throw in the nostalgia factor and it's a winning combination, at least for me.
  13. Besides the already mentioned $$ for advertising the brand, there is also research and engineering support for engine development and wind tunnel time. They do still use their respective manufacturers basic engine block and heads. Purely my opinion and I could be wrong.
  14. NICE! Great nostalgia build.
  15. Very unique factory "what if". Sharp build, well done!
  16. Very nice conversion and precision execution of detail. Well done!
  17. My all time favorite. This is the one that introduced me to model cars at a young age. I still enjoy looking at it today. It's just a classic.
  18. Sharp GT Harry, I like the "Guardsman" like blue color and the white stripes are well, legendary. Nice Pony.
  19. Hey Bruce, back ya Brother! I'm old but still out there, in the blood, love it.
  20. For fun -'97 SVT Cobra For chores, errands and whatever else - '04 F150 4.6 I spend most of my time in and get most of my work done with this one -'11 F550/ALTEC
  21. Wow I like this Ford long roof a lot! Real nice work, theme and style. Well done Joker!
  22. I got a little more done on the longroof this weekend. The 312 is finished and set in the frame and I attached the wheels and tires to check overall sit and stance. That about finishes up the chassis. I used the more detailed air cleaner from the AMT Fairlane 500 kit and I was concerned about hood clearance. A quick mock up shows it fits! I also sprayed a little Alclad chrome on the dash and steering wheel. As always comments and question welcome.
  23. Yes it is with the Modelhaus transkit. Any issue will work but you'd need the chopped version for the stock front grill and bumper.
