I haven’t built the AMT kit, so this is just spit-balling.? I have glued blocks inside bodies to keep the interior tub from sliding back and forth. I have also drilled through the floorpan and into a block of evergreen to install a pin. Then the floorpan will go back in the same location every time you trial fit the assembly. Hope this helps.?

On my iPad or iPhone I have editing capabilities on the quoted text. I can delete irrelevant sections of text and pictures. I imagine android devices would be similar.

Went to buy some clear coat at a LHS and came home with this. Edit: I had no idea what it was like, but for $15 I figured…what the heck!? After searching on here a bit, it looks like it builds up very nicely. There is almost no flash on the parts and it seems to be very nicely detailed. The worst part is probably the “logs” that don’t look too realistic, but I know where I can get some real ones.? They even give us real chain to fasten the load. Not sure if I’ll do the log truck or add something else?

Left hand drive trucks probably just evolved to be that way, with another seat next to the driver for a second driver. The central position has the advantage of making it easier for the driver to judge the center of the lane. Any competent driver shouldn’t have a problem…but competence is diminishing and I see plenty of automobile drivers that have no idea where the center of their lane is.? If you have no problem using the RH mirror in a normal rig, there should be no problem using both from a central position. i’m not sure about cameras instead of mirrors? I think it looks pretty slick though!?

I screwed up the chrome while trying to blackwash the stone guard…so I decided to cut out the plastic mesh and add some real stuff. It took me half a dozen ties to get a decent hole punched in it and a nice snug fit inside the frame, but I think it was worth the effort. I sprayed it with Revell Chrom and was happy to see the openings not clogged. I also managed to get some paint on the body. Mr.Color 131 Propeller Color for the fenders, and Createx Wicked Yellow for the body. I am debating whether to paint the wheels or leave them chrome? That’s all for now. Before masking to paint the accents, I want to make sure the paint is well dried.

I like the colour combo too.? Is that white primer DupliColor? I get a dry “fuzzy” texture with it that I don’t with the grey stuff.

I think it looks good Len.? I haven’t had great luck with Createx, but I have a few bottles of it so I am giving it one more try. I aborted my first attempt with that same Phthalo green.? If my paint job doesn’t turn out this time, I will give away whatever product I have left.
