I too have never bought a kit that I didn’t intend to build or possibly scavenge for parts. I collect and display my finished builds only.

Also doesn’t have a word that rhymes with it that I can think of offhand.

I think I actually like the shape of the kit better than the 1:1 so I would build it as is….but that just my opinion.

Clients are folks that I no longer have to deal with since I have retired.?

We have had lots of them installed up here in the great white north. Never really had any issues with them. You can get both 1 way and 2 way systems…the 2 way will confirm to you whether the vehicle has started or not. Pretty simple install if you have an automatic transmission. The wife’s manual Jeep starter (not factory) requires a sequence of operations to “enable” it: 1)put trans in neutral. 2)release the clutch. 3)set the park brake. 4)release the brake pedal. 5)press the set button on the remote. 6)exit vehicle and lock it with key fob.

Nice idea?…but I kinda like to have my glue bottle close to where I’m working. I don’t want to dip my brush or glue looper and have to transfer it a foot and a half over to where the model is.

I believe that is their plan. The Testors paints are completely gone from the stores in Winnipeg, and they haven’t been restocking the model kits.? They never had a real good selection, but you can’t beat the price with a 30-40% off coupon. I’ve bought kits just for parts with a coupon.? We are lucky to have two really good hobby shops here though…“Hobby Sense” and “RC Eliminator”. I know Hobby Sense does mail order business…not sure about RC?

Just like Gary said. You should google some images of the engine you are doing in order to determine the proper spark plug locations and whether they are straight or angled. Decide whether you want to bother with the proper firing order or not. No one will notice the wrong firing order unless you enter a contest….but don’t part them down the middle at the distributor like a haircut.? Personally I don’t care for the Gofer ones, as they don’t look realistic to me. I have drilled kit distributors if they are large enough, and have made my own from sprue and some .020” wire.

I have a handful of various shaped sculpting tools that I picked up cheap. I have also used the square plastic bread bag closers.
