  1. Yesterday I got this 3 Corvette Kit. And all 12 cans of duplicolor paints for less than 50 cents each. They rattle and have never been opened. Hopefully they will spray ok.
  2. Love the Renault. You don’t see many of them around.
  3. That is really terrible Carl. I have a golden retriever named Ben that I rescued 5-6 years ago. He has the best disposition. So I found out where Ben was actually born and contacted the breeder to see about getting another from him. I've never paid for a dog but I know Ben would love another dog to play with. Can not do. The guy next door to the breeder got in a fight with the breeder and poisoned his male dog. If someone poisoned Ben. He's my kid. My best friend. I'd be in jail for murder. LOL. Wish you could prove the guy did it.
  4. Some kits and a built Firebird I picked up today.
  5. Very cool. Not something you see every day.
  6. They are all great Tom.
  7. I don’t have one but do have a hair dryer from the 70’s I could warm the can with. I thought 70’s temp would be fine but i’ll Try that.
  8. Nice build. Love the patina.
  9. Thank you to all of you for some insight as to what is the problem. I'll start with a long shake.
  10. Unfortunately I threw the other one away. But I didn't buy them from the same parts store.
  11. OK. This is the 2nd can to do this.
  12. I did a search and found an issue with an air brush. But not a can. Unless it's under a hit word I'm not tried. I've been using Duplicolor Primer now but have a problem. When I spray the primer. It will spray and then start to spatter. And it drips on the floor. as I'm spraying. Anyone know why it's doing this? Room temp is around 70 degrees.
  13. I have the same booth and I think it works great. I have the hose straight out the window with no bends. Thinking of getting a piece of 4 inch plastic drain pipe to replace the hose for better air flow. I don't smell anything all the while I'm spraying. And I let it run a while when I'm done. Afterward it's been off a while I start to smell the paint and figure it's what's on the models I've just painted. But I haven't noticed any overspray anywhere. Not even on the table it sits on during spraying. You can take the filters and soak them in Purple Power. I spray the filter with Purple Power until wet and then place them in a gallon zip lock bag, They clean up rather nicely.
  14. Your detail and work is amazing Steve.

Thank you guys. That was a great color on Pontiacs back in the day Carl. That's why I left it alone.
  16. Looks great. Nice color.
  17. That came out really nice Randy.
  18. Very cool.
  19. I’m just glad I have enough kits on hand to last me till I’m 80. After that. If I can even remember who I am will be a day long adventure.
  20. Welcome Brain. You became a member of a fantastic forum. You’ll learn so much from the members here and everyone here is more than willing to help with questions you might have. Build where your heart takes you. Whether it’s a stock build or something of your imagination. Model building should be a fun hobby.
  21. I’m sure she was as nice in person as she was in the movies. When my mother went with the frosted hair stage is the late 60’s, early 70’s. she was often told she looked like Doris Day. Use to make my mom mad and she’d say “I’m not like that goody two shoes”. Lol!
