    '68 Charger R/T

    WOW! Nice.
  4. Nice. How the heck did you ever paint the script on the hub caps?
  5. I love the see your build.
  6. Really nice.
  7. Very nice.
  8. Awesome. Love the color.
  9. Beautiful!
  10. Came out really nice.
  11. Nice car. Are you going to buy it Mike?
  12. I found that I would put the body together first. And then paint it. But seeing I never built one where the sideS have to be glued to the middle piece. I didn’t know. If I did I could have finished the body seams a bit better. As far as the grill and such. I’m not that talented to change those dimesions. But you can. As long as you have fun in the building. That’s all that matters. :-)
  13. I jumped from a 70 Thunderbird to a Jaguar to a 49 ford to a 61 Impala to a 58 corvette. So yes. It helps keep your interest going. I think. :-)

    76 beetle

    Nice.
  15. Ok. Thank you for letting me know. I thought that might be the case but wasn't sure. I'll know better next time. And it's curing in the workshop located in the basement. So it's a bit cooler there. I should but it in the garage where it's warmer.
  16. Great looking build. Nice color combo for sure.
  17. I must have done something wrong. I primed a corvette body a few days ago. Yesterday I spray painted it. Today I re-sprayed it because there were some thin spots and when I did. The paint crinkled. So it's in the purple power bath. Should I have waited longer to re-spray it? I used Krylon primer and Rust-Oleum paint.
  18. welcome to the forum. It’s a great place to be and your work is wonderful.
  19. I was wary of putting the body together and then painting it as I didn't know how it would work out. But with super glue. The body is pretty secure. If I had know this I would have built the body. Fitted the sides on and try and make the seams disappear. Thanks for the comment. I appreciate them. And the trunk looks better in real life. Funny how the camera magnifies the fault. LOL
  20. I've never build a model where you had to actually glue the sides to the middle body. I think it came out ok.
  21. Those are stunning.
  22. Really nice
  23. I actually owned a 67 firebird with the overhead cam 6 with a 4 barrel card and a split exhaust manifold. That thing could really move for a 6 cylinder.
  24. And that is another great haul. A lot of people made out this week.
