Dann, what do you use for flat, gloss and semi-gloss black and white? The Duplicolor I have from the Auto Parts store only had flat and gloss black and it was Acrylic Enamel. Goes on nice and dries fast but I'm always afraid a lacquer on or around it will hurt it. I have some Rustoleum Maxx satin black that I also got at the auto parts store since they didn't have a satin Duplicolor and it looks really nice but it goes on thick as you described and takes a few days to completely dry.
