The historic Mercedeas purist in me wants to call it blasphemy but the Dave Kindig fan in me has both thumbs up! Nice work!

The top 5 builds that you've done......
Koellefornia Kid replied to JollySipper's topic in The Off-Topic Lounge
Oh man, choosing a Top 5 is like saying you like one of your kids more than the others.... But I picked five builds that (imo) turned out quiet nice. In no particular order: ‘72 Blazer, lots of fun creating a custom interior and a custom paint job: '30 Ford Model A Coupe de Cab. The original 1:1 car once was the property of one of my childhood heroes, professional skateboarder Steve Caballero. Just had to build it in scale: '78 AMC Pacer kit bashed with a '06 Camaro. Actually turned out cooler than I envisioned it: '68 El Camino. Probably my cleanest paint finish and best engine: '48 Custom Cadillac. Modified to resemble Boyd Coddington's Eldorod from 1998: But I do love my other builds, too... -

Wow, that looks cool! Color, wheels and stance look just as nice as on the inspiration car! Funny coincidence: When I bought this kit some years ago I found a cool pic on the web that I just had to build, too: I think both would look really nice next to each other...
